Patent number: 11975904Abstract: Pressure relief blow out plugs for a container are disclosed as well as methods of using the same. One disclosed method involves providing a glass container that comprises a base and a body extending away from the base. The base includes a wall that defines a pressure relief passage. The method also involves inserting a pressure relief blow out into the pressure relief passage to seal the passage. The plug comprises a first inboard flange extending radially outwardly from the plug body, a stem, and a second inboard flange extending radially outwardly from the plug body and being spaced apart from the first inboard flange by a stem. The first inboard flange includes a first outboard sealing surface that provides an axial seal against the wall of the base of the glass container, and the second inboard flange including a circumferentially interrupted outboard facing retention portion the defines vent gaps.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2023Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Owens-Brockway Glass Container Inc.Inventors: David Hoadley, Trent Jones

Patent number: 11972020Abstract: Encryption is performed at the field level within a data object, in response to an encryption indicator. Encrypted fields are nulled or zeroed out and the encrypted values are stored in encryption metadata with a path identifying the locations of the encrypted fields. An encrypted data key is appended with a decryption identifier and stored in the encryption metadata. The encrypted data object may be reformatted while encrypted. The encrypted data key is extracted from the encryption metadata and the decryption identifier is used to identify a master key used to decrypt the encrypted data key. The data key is used to decrypt the encrypted values and the decrypted values are stored in the fields identified by the paths.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2023Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventor: Trent Jones

Patent number: 11935003Abstract: The system and methods described herein allow users to give their applicant information when seeking to submit an inquiry associated with a product provided by at least one entity, and have various lender microservices run in parallel, segregated by entity, in a jailed and self-contained, autonomous environment. The result of these microservices may be returned as a response to the inquity, being determined autonomously for each respective entity based on one or more respective rule sets or executable logic for each respective entity. Payloads for multiple entities may be combined in a single output from the jailed and self-contained environment due to outputs from the environment being encrypted in a universal format, wherein the outputs are decrypted in a user session in an application, allowing the user to see the results of the respective responses of each of the at least one entity, to their inquiry.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Dinesh Sundaram, Raman Bajaj, Jacques Morel, Sanjiv Yajnik, Trent Jones, Alan Ilango, Jacob Creech, Avijit Sarkar, Rajaboopathy Vijayaraghavan, Ishu Gupta, Thomas Sickert

Patent number: 11935002Abstract: The system and methods described herein allow users to apply for a purchase of a good from multiple providers using provider specific methodologies for generating offers for the product. For example, the system described herein may include a multi-layer architecture that includes interactive micro-services that communicate together in a bi-directional manner to create a normalized process for the purchase of a good, such as commercial goods/products (e.g. a vehicle) or real property. The micro-services may assess prequalification for a loan or financing for a good, followed by determining eligibility of the good for financing, and further followed by calculating pricing details for loans (e.g. for financing purchase of the good) that would be offered for a consumer's particular financial credentials, for each of a plurality of lenders. Prequalification and pricing may be performed on a good by good basis, or for a plurality of goods near or substantially simultaneously.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2020Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Dinesh Sundaram, Rajaboopathy Vijayaraghavan, Sanjiv Yajnik, Raman Bajaj, Jacques Morel, Trent Jones, Thomas Sickert, Jacob Creech, Alan Ilango, Alex Baird, Vikramaditya Repaka, Hala Salim El-Ali

Publication number: 20240070162Abstract: Described herein is an application-to-friend data service for constructing and maintaining an application-to-friend index. The data service has a first service component that is triggered when an end-user opens an application. The first service component performs operations to update the database table with current data concerning other end-users who are friends of the end-user on whose behalf the data service has been invoked. The data service includes a second service component to receive and process a query by efficiently returning, for a given end-user and a given application, a list of connections or friends of the given end-user who are also end-users of the application.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Virgil L. Archer, III, John Trent DiBacco, Matthew Alan Jones, Bernardo Perez

Publication number: 20220183305Abstract: A pneumatic animal stunner for stunning an animal for later processing uses sensor technology to measure the speed of a stunning rod disposed in the stunner housing as it is driven forward via pneumatic forces. At least one sensor may be disposed in a nose connected to a front end of the housing, in the housing, or in a tail end of the housing. The at least one sensor communicates with a receiver that can process and display the speed data collected from the at least one sensor as the stunning rod drives forward. The receiver can be disposed on the housing of the stunner, or may be a separate component from the stunner. The data may be sent from the at least one sensor to the receiver via a wireless or wired connection. Multiple methods of measuring the stunning rod speed may be employed.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2021Publication date: June 16, 2022Inventors: Jonathan Jarvis, Trent Jones, Arthur Jones, Bruce Eidinger, Kevin Catalan

Patent number: 11278031Abstract: A reduced pressure pneumatic animal stunner with a low-complexity valve and venting system, and method of use thereof, is disclosed. The stunner includes a hollow housing, a stunning rod chamber, a head contact movable within an outer housing nose, a stunning rod, and a catch system employing at least one arcuate catch, a catch retainer, and a catch piston slideable within an opening of a catch cylinder. The catch piston has passageways disposed therein to allow for flow of a pressurized fluid therethrough. One passageway allows fluid to flow to a rearward end of the stunning rod chamber, and another allows fluid to flow to a forward end of the stunning rod chamber. Pressurized fluid may flow from a source through an internal passageway to the front of the stunning rod chamber alongside at least one resilient cushion designed to cushion stop the forward movement of the stunning rod.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2020Date of Patent: March 22, 2022Assignee: Jarvis Products CorporationInventors: Arthur Jones, Trent Jones
