  • Publication number: 20240111263
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for optimization and autoconfiguration of edge processing devices are disclosed. A cloud computing system can receive a request to configure a target building device. The cloud computing system can identify, based on the target building device, a connector template for the target building device. The connector template can include one or more parameters for a connector component configured to cause the target building device to communicate with the cloud computing system. cloud computing system can generate the connector component for the target building device based on the one or more parameters. cloud computing system can deploy the connector component to the target building device.

  • Publication number: 20230280708
Abstract: A system includes a cloud system in communication with a first unit of building equipment and a second unit of building equipment and configured to aggregate event data from a first unit of building equipment at a first building comprising first onboard circuitry configured to perform first onboard event processing to generate the event data for the first unit building equipment and a second unit of building equipment at a second building comprising second onboard circuitry configured to configured to perform the second onboard event processing to generate event data for the second unit building equipment. The cloud system is also configured to provide a user interface comprising a view of the aggregated event data for the first unit of building equipment and the second unit of building equipment.

  • Publication number: 20230280771
Abstract: A rooftop unit includes a housing, air conditioning components coupled to the housing and onboard circuitry enclosed within and/or coupled to the housing. The onboard circuitry is programmed to receive data from a plurality of data sources communicably coupled to the onboard circuitry. The data is received in a plurality of different formats according to a plurality different protocols. The onboard circuitry is also configured to translate the data from the plurality of formats into a common data format and perform operations onboard the rooftop unit using the data in the common data format.

  • Publication number: 20230280059
Abstract: A system includes a unit of building equipment serving a building and including a heating, ventilation, or cooling component and onboard circuitry configured to execute a configuration routine stored on the circuitry which automatically configures parameters of the rooftop unit based on the signals received from sensors and devices at the building. The system also includes a cloud system communicably connectable to the onboard circuitry and configured to influence the configuration routine.

  • Publication number: 20230213909
Abstract: A method can include activating a building platform chip integrated into a building device of a building and coupled with a processing circuit of the building device. The method can include retrieving, by the building platform chip, first data from the processing circuit of the building device through communication with the processing circuit. The method can include generating, by the building platform chip, second data to cause a digital twin of the building device to be constructed.

  • Patent number: 7346846
Abstract: Help functionality is described for integrating help information into a primary application in a just-in-time fashion. The help functionality can perform this task by providing a see-through panel which is presented on top of an application interface provided by the primary application. A user can move a mark on the see-through panel to identify features of the application interface concerning which he or she may have questions. The help functionality responds by presenting potentially context-sensitive help information to the user in audio mode and/or visual mode. If the visual mode is selected, the help functionality can present the help information on the see-through panel itself, and/or can dynamically move parts of the application interface to accommodate the display of the help information. The help functionality can supply the help information from a local source and/or a remote source, in an automated manner and/or a manual manner (e.g., using a remote human assistant).
