  • Patent number: 11547863
Abstract: A re-usable, compact automated external defibrillator (AED) having a proximate electrode and a distal electrode for use in delivering an electrical charge to a person in cardiac distress. The components of the AED are packed together in a low-profile device body. The distal electrode may be easily unpacked from the device body and deployed. A circuit board within the device body controls the AED. The proximate electrode is part of the device body such that the device body is attached to the skin of the person when in use. The distal electrode is wired to the device body and also attached to the skin of the person when in use. The circuit board may be used to deliver a biphasic electrical charge to the person. The adhesive pads on the electrodes may be peeled off and replaced for reuse. Also, the electrodes may be replaced, if needed.

  • Publication number: 20200318410
Abstract: A sliding screen door system is presented for selectively closing an opening of a vehicle having a fixed screen frame and a sliding screen frame that are connected to one another by a pair of linear slides having an interior member, an exterior member and a center member that facilitate linear sliding of the sliding screen frame relative to the fixed screen frame. The connection of the sliding screen frame to the fixed screen frame with these linear slides suspends the sliding screen frame within the opening of the vehicle thereby eliminating the need for upper and lower rails the encumber the entryway into the vehicle. The sliding screen frame includes a moveable member that accommodates a closing mechanism of the door when it closes thereby allowing the sliding screen frame to be closed when the rear door is closed without causing damage to the sliding screen door.

  • Patent number: 10618461
Abstract: A lighted accessory for a motor vehicle includes a machined aluminum body. The body includes a front wall that has a plurality of openings through it and a cavity behind it. A plurality of lenses are potted in place within the openings. LED lights are installed on the aluminum body in alignment with the lenses. Additional potting compound is applied to cover the LEDs and substantially fill the cavity. A faulty LED board may be replaced by removing a portion of the potting compound and the faulty LED board, replacing the faulty LED board with an operable one, and refilling the removed portion of the potting compound with additional potting compound.

  • Patent number: 9995473
Abstract: An LED lamp uses a flexible metal fabric as a heat sink. At least one light emitting diode is attached to a circuit board that is mounted on a heat conducting member. The flexible heat sink is attached to the heat conducting member, such that heat generated by the light emitting diode and circuit board is conducted to the flexible heat sink. The flexible heat sink can be deformed to fit in a variety of spaces. The flexible heat sink dissipates the heat generated by the LED lamp without the need for a fan. The flexible heat sink may be made from braided copper fabric.
