  • Patent number: 11773809
Abstract: A leak detection module (LDM) includes a housing, a canister valve solenoid (CVS) that is arranged within the housing and in fluid communication along a first fluid passageway between first and second ports. The module also includes a pump that is arranged within the housing and is in fluid communication with the first and second ports, and a pressure sensor that is in fluid communication with at least one of the first and second ports. A first controller is arranged in the housing and is in communication with the pump, the CVS and the pressure sensor. The first controller runs a test procedure using the pump and operating the CVS between open and closed positions to monitor a pressure within the module. The first controller communicates a result based upon the monitored pressure to a second controller that is arranged outside the housing and remotely from the module.

  • Publication number: 20220366810
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to operate a three-dimensional (3D) computer animation and visual effects application (3D application). An interactive tutorial is initialized to perform an operation in the 3D application. The operation consists of a series of two or more steps and is a 3D animation, modeling, or visual effect operation. A text instruction for performing a first step of the two or more steps is displayed. User input is received, and a determination is made regarding whether the input successfully completes the first step. If not successfully completed, the tutorial waits for additional user input. If the user input results in a successful completion of the first step, the tutorial repeats until additional steps of the operation are also completed.

  • Patent number: 11231005
Abstract: An engine starter apparatus includes a starter motor, a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the starter motor, a light source integrated with the starter motor, and a controller operatively connected to the temperature sensor and the light source. The controller is configured to illuminate the light source in a first color in response to the temperature of the starter motor exceeding a first temperature threshold. The controller is configured to illuminate the light source further in a second color in response to the temperature of the starter motor exceeding a second temperature threshold. The second temperature threshold is greater than the first temperature threshold. The first and second color are different. The second temperature threshold corresponds to a life limit of the starter motor. Illumination of the light source indicates an overheated starter motor, which may warrant a replacement of the starter motor.

  • Publication number: 20170282013
Abstract: A force measurement device has a motion dampening device having at least two ends. A first end is releasably engaged to a base frame and a second end is releasably engaged to a moveable member. A load cell is in communication with the motion dampening device. The load cell measures a force imparted by a user and the load cell registers the force to a display which depicts the registered force exerted by the user. A method for measuring the force a user imparts onto an exercise apparatus comprises the user imparting force onto a moveable member. The motion dampening device imparts a force substantially opposite to the user force and a load cell measures the force exerted by the user. The force is transmitted to a display wherein the display depicts the registered force imparted by the user.

  • Patent number: 6075190
Abstract: An apparatus for holding drums comprising a connected series of rotatably interrelated tubular posts, clamps and plates for enabling the versatile repositioning of drums in combination with or apart from a musical drum set. One end of the apparatus connects to and is supported by a bass drum, floor stand, or rack cage and the other end is attached to a tom or some other similar type of musical drum. Two connected clamp assemblies are provided, including, one assembly having a single post member with one end that connects to a support structure, and the other end that connects to a C-type clamp through a mating receptacle, and another assembly, including a second, usually shorter, single post member, with one end that connects to a mounting fixture attached to the shell of a tom drum and the other end that connects to a second C-type clamp through a corresponding mating receptacle. The clamps are joined by two aligned and spaced apart connecting plates, which are attached to shafts inside each of the clamps.
