  • Publication number: 20130104304
Abstract: A toilet bowl treatment composition dispensing device, comprising a hanger and a treatment composition block. The hanger (20) comprises an elongate body portion (21) having a first end and a second end; a hook portion (22) at the first end for suspending the hanger (20) from a rim of a toilet bowl; and a block supporting portion (23) at the second end, the block supporting portion (23) having at least one finger (25) projecting from a surface of the supporting portion. Wherein the hook portion (22) and the at least one finger (25) project from one of the same longitudinal side of the body portion (21), and opposite longitudinal sides of the body portion (21), and the treatment composition block (10) is retained on the supporting portion (23) by said at least one finger inserted into a surface of said treatment composition block.

  • Patent number: 8272106
Abstract: A driven conveyor having an upper surface for receiving and transporting seed cotton comprises a plurality of spaced apart slats, each extending transversely relative to the direction of travel. Each slat has a roughened surface to which cotton fiber will adhere. The transverse gaps between the respective slats facilitate severance of seed by a transverse blade that is in contact with the upper surface of the conveyor, while the cotton fiber adheres to the slatted upper surface and is pulled through the pinch point between the blade and the conveyor. An air flow chamber is arranged above the blade so that seed separated from the fiber at the pinch point can be removed. An air suction device is provided downstream of the blade for removal of the fiber from the upper surface. A blade mounting assembly resiliently biases the blade in floating contact with the upper surface of the conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20100269305
Abstract: A driven conveyor (10) having an upper surface for receiving and transporting seed cotton in a forward direction of travel A comprises a plurality of spaced apart slats (20), each extending transversely relative to the direction of travel. Each slat (20) has an upper layer (22) of surface roughened material to which cotton fibre will adhere. The slats (20) are preferably mounted between a pair of substantially parallel endless chains (24), each formed of plural chain links (26) and having rollers (28) mounted thereto whereby the chains are guided along respective guide tracks (16) at each side of the machine frame (12). The transverse gaps between the respective slats (20) facilitate severance of seed by a transverse blade (40) which has a lower surface in contact with the upper surface of the conveyor, while the cotton fibre adheres to the slatted upper surface and is pulled through the pinch point between the blade (40) and the conveyor (10).
