  • Publication number: 20190247039
Abstract: Tissue repair systems which use knotless all-suture anchors and have the ability to lock multiple repair sutures within the anchor construct. The anchor construct includes a tension suture wrapped or looped upon itself to create an open eyelet, through which multiple repair sutures originating in soft tissue are passed. The location of the eyelet may be anywhere inside the all-suture anchor or adjacent to the exterior of the anchor body. Tensioning of the tension suture causes the eyelet to restrict movement of the repair sutures and secures them within or against the anchor body.

  • Publication number: 20180239507
Abstract: Methods and systems for compact presentation of automatically summarized information according to rule-based graphically represented information. One of the methods includes obtaining, via a user accessible user interface, a request for uploaded textual information to be analyzed. Ontology information is accessed based on an indicated type associated with the textual information, and ontology information for the type. The ontology information specifies nodes, with the nodes causing the server system to extract values for textual expressions defined by the nodes, and relational information between the nodes, with the relational information indicating links between textual expressions. The textual information is parsed based on the ontology information. The parsing causes traversal of the nodes and extraction of values from associated textual expressions based on the textual information. Values are obtained based on the parsing, with the values being utilized as summary information.

  • Publication number: 20180239959
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for processing a document package are disclosed. A method for processing a document may include analyzing one or more documents to determine potential signer information, determining on such information, a respective set of signers, and sending electronic notifications to the signers. The notifications may include selectable links configured to provide access to the electronic documents associated with the signers. Upon selection of a link, an interactive user interface may be provided including access to the electronic documents. Signature data from a signer may be received via the interactive user interface. Based on the signature data, the system may determine whether completion criteria associated with the one or more documents is satisfied; in response to the completion criteria being satisfied, further electronic notifications to at least the signers may be sent out.

  • Publication number: 20180228484
Abstract: A knotless tissue repair assembly for attachment of tissue to bone includes an anchoring implant with a length of suture threaded therethrough. The implant is preferably a soft flexible three-dimensional structure. The implant may be actuated from a first elongate low profile shape into a second short radially expanded shape having a larger diameter than the hole through which it was placed. The suture extends through the anchor, through a tissue to be secured, and back through a designated suture-binding region or passageway within the anchor enabling the suture to be secured therein and without the need for a physician to tie a knot. Further tension applied to a suture leg approximates the tissue to the anchor until a desired tension or distance between the tissue and anchor is achieved.

  • Patent number: 9866530
Abstract: A method and apparatus is shown for provision of a secure connection via a public network. In a particular implementation, a communication session may be established between an apparatus and a client device to enable the client device to receive access to one or more portions of a public network via one or more communication links. In response to receipt of a request message received from the client device, access may be established to the one or more portions of the public network using one or more identifiers from the client device to emulate the client device on the one or more portions of the public network. In response to detection of the established access to the one or more portions of the public network, an encrypted virtual private network (VPN) communication session may be established to one or more remote devices via the one or more portions of the public network.

  • Publication number: 20170231622
Abstract: In repairing soft tissue with a bone anchoring instrument (such as reattaching a tendon of a torn rotator cuff), the bone anchoring instrument may be used to anchor the soft tissue to a region of bone. The anchors inserted into the underlying bone may have one or more lengths of suture or wire attached thereto which may be tensioned independently of one another to affix the soft tissue to the bone by having a selector mechanism selectively engage and disengage ratcheted tensioning wheels from one another. Suture loading mechanisms may be employed for passing suture lengths into and/or through the anchors prior to deployment into the bone where such mechanisms may employ suture snares which are configured to reconfigure from an expanded shape through which suture lengths may be easily passed to a low-profile shape which secures the suture lengths within the snare.

  • Publication number: 20170231752
Abstract: A graft suspension device for suspending a ligament in a bone hole having a first loop and a second loop suspending from an 8-hole anchor, and a cradle at the opposite end of the loops to the anchor. The loose ends of the suture are routed through holes in the anchor separate from the loops and are joined together to form a single tail. A finger loop allows a surgeon to adjust the distance of the cradle from the anchor with the cradle staying centered with respect to the anchor as the distance is adjusted.

  • Patent number: 9553723
Abstract: A method of encrypting data is provided. The method includes generating a key and encrypting data using the key. Generating the key includes determining a number of coefficients for a polynomial having a number of variables and selecting a polynomial level from the number of coefficients. Generating the key also includes selecting a first value based on the polynomial level, generating a vector (c) having coefficients based on the polynomial level, and generating a vector (t) based on the polynomial level. Furthermore, generating the key includes generating a vector (t?) based on a product of the vector (c) and the vector (t) and calculating a second value based on the first value, the vector (t), and the product. In addition, generating the key includes comparing the second value with the polynomial level and returning the coefficients of the vector (c) as the number of coefficients for the polynomial.
