Publication number: 20220387480Abstract: A system and a method are provided for making hypochlorous acid using saltwater with sodium bicarbonate. The system includes an electrolytic cell, a quantity of saltwater solution, and a quantity of sodium bicarbonate. The quantity of saltwater solution is poured into the electrolytic cell and then undergoes an electrolytic process. As a result of the quantity of saltwater solution going through the electrolytic process, a hypochlorous acid solution is yielded. In order to ensure a pure hypochlorous acid solution is formed, the quantity of sodium bicarbonate can be added into the electrolytic cell along with the quantity of saltwater solution before the electrolytic process or the quantity of sodium bicarbonate can be added into the hypochlorous acid solution after the hypochlorous acid solution is yielded. This process adjusts the pH level of the hypochlorous acid solution, and thus, produces a purer hypochlorous acid solution.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2022Publication date: December 8, 2022Inventors: Hien Tu Le, Gia Thanh Le, Joseph Tu Le, Triet Tu Le

Patent number: 8824178Abstract: A power converter may include a first power path having no energy storage and a second power path having substantial energy storage. The first and second power paths have first and second input waveforms that are complementary with respect to a source waveform. The first power path, which may be more efficient than the second path, may transfer as much power as possible from the input to the output. The energy storage enables the second power path to make up the difference between the power available from the source and the power drawn by the first power path, and to make up the difference between the power demanded by a load and the power supplied by the first path.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2010Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: SolarBridge Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Gary B. Patent number: 8754627Abstract: A method for tracking a power point for a power source includes calculating voltage and current errors for the power source, selecting either the voltage error or the current error, and controlling the power converter with a first control loop in response to the selected error. The voltage and current errors may be calculated in response to voltage and current targets, respectively, which may be calculated by a second control loop that implements an MPPT algorithm. The second control loop may calculate the voltage and current targets in response to which error the first control loop selects. A method for tracking a power point for a power source having multiple local power maxima includes measuring the individual voltage across one or more series-connected power elements in the power source, and controlling the power in response to the overall voltage and current as well as the individual voltage.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2011Date of Patent: June 17, 2014Assignee: SolarBridge Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Triet Tu Le
