The computing device may assign a first authentication level based on the biometric information. The user may be prompted to sign or virtually sign a document. The sensor may record a video recording of the user signing the document. The computing device may create a digital file from the video recording and a token indicating the first authentication level and the biometric information. The computing device may embed the token into the digital file. The digital file with the embedded token may be transferred to a second party.

The apparatus and methods may include using a biometric sensor on an Internet-of-things (“IoT”) device to measure a biometric attribute of a user. The IoT device may continue to measure the biometric attribute of the user at a pre-determined interval. Each measurement may be used to authenticate the user. This continuous authentication process may take place without the user's conscious interaction with the IoT device. The apparatus and methods may include using the continuous authentication to process and approve a transaction the user requests.

The first user device may be a wearable device, such as an XR device like smart glasses, and the second user device may be a smart card, or vice versa. The authentication transfer may enable both devices to be used by the user to access the same account simultaneously. The authentication transfer may also enable the transfer of a stronger authentication that may be obtained on a first user device (e.g., biometric indicia) to a second user device that does not have a capability to obtain the stronger authentication. This may provide the second user device with account access that may otherwise not be available to the second user device or to greater access to the account.
