Abstract: In one embodiment according to the teachings of the present disclosure, a computer program generally includes executable code in communication with a record modification source and a workflow automation tool having a database for the storage of a plurality of records. The computer program is operable to receive a first record from the record modification source and determine one or more seconds records from the plurality of records having a parent/child relationship with the first record. The computer program then enforces one or more parent/child rules on the first record relative to the one or more second records and transmits the first record to the workflow automation tool.
