  • Patent number: 10073607
Abstract: A method of processing audio may include receiving, by a computing device, a plurality of real-time audio signals outputted by a plurality of microphones communicatively coupled to the computing device. The computing device may output to a display a graphical user interface (GUI) that presents audio information associated with the received audio signals. The one or more received audio signals may be processed based on a user input associated with the audio information presented via the GUI to generate one or more processed audio signals. The one or more processed audio signals may be output to, for example, one or more output devices such as speakers, headsets, and the like.

  • Patent number: 9743213
Abstract: A multichannel acoustic system (MAS) comprises an arrangement of microphones, loudspeakers, and filters along with a multichannel acoustic processor (MAP) and other components to together provide and enhance the auditory experience of persons in a shared acoustic space such as, for example, the driver and other passengers in an automobile. Driver-specific features such as navigation and auditory feedback cues are described, as individual auditory customizations and collective communications both within the shared acoustic space as well as with other individuals not located in the space via enhanced conference call facilities.

  • Patent number: 9179724
Abstract: A wearable sombrero-style hat with a refillable reservoir is disclosed. The sombrero-style, or type, hat has a generally conical crown with an opening at the top of the conical crown. The opening allows the use of a reservoir that is adapted for insertion through the opening in the conical crown. The reservoir also includes an upper end with a fill neck that has a cantilevered collar or protrusion that extend from the fill neck in a generally radial manner. The collar or protrusions engages the edge of the edge of the opening at the top of the generally conical crown to support the fill neck at or near the top of the conical crown, while the lower end and outlet of the reservoir are positioned below the fill neck, and thus allow the connection of a dispensing tube to the outlet of the reservoir, and thus allow the user to drink from the reservoir through the dispensing tube.

  • Publication number: 20130231875
Abstract: A monitoring system for a beverage dispensing system having at least one fluid conduit. The monitoring system includes at least one monitoring apparatus configured to be coupled to at least one fluid conduit, each monitoring apparatus having at least one sensor and being configured to determine when liquid is flowing through the conduit, at least one hub configured to receive information from the at least one monitoring apparatus about when liquid is flowing through the at least one conduit, and at least one processor configured to determine a volume of liquid flowing through the fluid conduit based on the information received from the at least one monitoring apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8509427
Abstract: An encryption and authentication technique that achieves enhanced integrity verification through assured error-propagation using a multistage sequence of pseudorandom permutations. The method generates intermediate data-dependent cryptographic variables at each stage, which are systematically combined into feedback loops. The encryption technique also generates an authentication tag with minimal post processing that is the size of the state.
