    Abstract: An LED assembly is installed to a larger spa or pool light niche by inserting at least a portion of the LED light assembly through a receiving aperture of an adapter plate, and attaching the LED light assembly to the adapter. The adapter is mounted to the spa or pool light niche, such that it substantially covers the open end of the spa or pool niche. An outer face of the plate may be generally planar and solid. Alternatively, the plate may have a peripheral lip defining at least one open-faced cavity that receives a fill material therein which may have appearance characteristics of a submerged surface of the pool or spa.
