Abstract: A method of providing high availability enhancement for servers using structured query language (SQL), includes: installing hardware for cluster configuration; installing an operating system, SQL application, and eRoom application in a first server; duplicating a disk image of the first server to a second server; performing an initial cluster configuration procedure for eventually permitting the first server and second server to function in a clustered configuration; performing an eRoom cluster configuration procedure to permit one of the first server and second server to run the eRoom application that is installed in a shared storage in the cluster configuration; and performing an SQL cluster configuration procedure to install the SQL application in the shared storage.

Abstract: A method of creating a facility in a clustered server configuration, includes: creating a facility on a first cluster node; adding facility registry keys to a resource in the cluster group, the registry keys comprising a facility key, a full text key, open database connectivity format keys, and connectivity information keys; performing a fail-over operation of the cluster group from the first cluster node to the second cluster node; resetting a password for the open database connectivity for the added facility; and removing the added facility registry keys to prevent replication back to the first cluster node. An apparatus for providing a facility in a cluster server configuration, includes: a first cluster node; a second cluster node; a shared disk system coupled to the first cluster node and second cluster node; where a facility can be created on the first cluster node.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method of centrally controlling the settings in a computer system in an eRoom environment, includes: providing an interface page by use of an operations console module; and adjusting settings relating to an eRoom application by setting at least one variable in the interface page. The interface page may be related to look and feel settings, server settings, and/or security settings.

Abstract: In one embodiment of the invention, a method of user aging in an eRoom server, includes: sending a request for eRoom user accounts in a Server Member List (SML); returning user account information in response to the request; checking an employment status of each user associated with a returned user account information; and processing a user account associated with a user based upon the employment status of the user. In another embodiment of the invention, an apparatus for user aging in an eRoom server, includes: an automated user aging module configured to send a request for eRoom user accounts in a Server Member List (SML) and receive user account information in response to the request; the automated user aging module further configured to check an employment status of each user associated with a returned user account information and process a user account associated with a user based upon the employment status of the user.
