  • Publication number: 20190212096
Abstract: A holster system that comprises a holster and an accessory configured to be fixed to a mounting rail of a handgun. The holster has a holster body with a pair of opposing wall portions defining a cavity. A retention mechanism of the system has a blocking portion movable between a blocking position and a non-blocking position. The blocking member at least inhibits removal of the handgun and accessory if the handgun and accessory are urged rearwardly before a thumb receiving portion is depressed. The blocking portion is on a spring member that is deflected by an elongate exteriorly extending sliding member that has a cam surface that selectively deflects the spring member from the blocking position.

  • Publication number: 20190137214
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are directed to a rapid adjust buckle for a rifle sling. The buckle can include a main buckle portion with a pair of side portions and a handle portion extending between the pair of side portions and over the main buckle portion to define a handle aperture. In various embodiments the handle portion and the main buckle portion are a unitary piece composed of a polymer material with the handle portion being flexibly biased towards an uncompressed open shape such that the handle portion is configured to compress against the main buckle portion in response to a compressing force but return to the uncompressed open shape when the compressing force is relieved. In one or more embodiments the handle portion includes a plurality of jointed connection points configured to flatten the profile of the handle portion when the handle portion is exposed to the compressing force.

  • Patent number: 10222179
Abstract: A gunsight system for aiming a firearm is disclosed. The gunsight system includes a front sight and a rear sight. The firearm has a barrel defining a bore that extends along a gun bore axis. The gun bore axis extends in a forward direction and a rearward direction. The front sight comprises a front sight post including a front sighting element. The rear sight comprises a rear sight post including a rear sighting element. Each sight post is pivotable between a deployed position and a reclined position. When the sight post are in the deployed position, the user may aim the firearm with reference to a sight line extending through the front and rear sighting elements. The sight line and the gun bore axis may be generally parallel to one another when the sight arms are in the deployed position.

  • Patent number: 10156421
Abstract: A stock for a firearm. In some embodiments, the stock is configured for bi-directional folding to either side of a receiver of the firearm. In some embodiments, the stock is configured for length adjustment. A biasing element is provided for the length adjustment that biases a proximal (butt) subassembly of the stock against the shoulder of the user. The user can adjust the length of the stock by moving his or her shoulder fore and aft against the butt of the stock. The bi-directional folding and the shoulder length adjustment aspects may be incorporated into a single embodiment.
