    Abstract: A portable apparatus that can be wheeled to a pallet supported by a conveyor for selective removal of nails that interconnect the stringers with the deckboards. The portable apparatus has a platform that is moveable in a vertical direction to position the cutting means at the juncture of the stringer with the deckboards. Such apparatus has a pair of pivotal cutting means that are moveable toward each other into intermeshing contact to shear nails.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the disassembling and the repairing of nailed wooden pallets having upper and lower deckboards nailed to stringers. The apparatus has a carriage that is reciprocable across a support frame. The carriage has a pair of longitudinally extending supports with cutters at the end thereof for movement therewith. Inverting apparatus is mounted on said carriage and connected to said carriage supports for rotating said carriage supports and their cutters selectively 180.degree. to align said cutters with a stringer in a pallet. A locking apparatus are used for securing the pallets on said support frame for the cutting of the nails that secure the deckboards to the stringers.

    Abstract: An automotive tire bundling machine having a support framework or base which supports a pair of vertically spaced tire support members. A stack of tires are placed between the tire support members against guide rods on one of the tire support members. The other tire support member is moveable toward and away from the one tire support member for compressing the stack of tires. A strap feeding means position a strap about the peripheral edges of the stack of tires and is cooperative with a strap clinching device to tension the strap, secure the strap and cut off the excess strap material. The stack of tires is rotatable with the tire support members to facilitate the placement of additional straps about the stack of tires.

    Abstract: An apparatus for cold branding of vulcanized tires wherein an endless conveyor is suspended from a support frame having a plurality of stations located along the closed path of the conveyor. A plurality of branding machines are mounted on the conveyor for movement therewith along the endless path of the conveyor. The conveyor means and branding machines are moved intermittently along the closed path stopping at the stations for a predetermined time interval to provide unloading and loading of tires therefrom with the cold branding being done during the movement of the tires between the stations. Heating is provided to the branding machines for heating the branding heads for branding the sidewalls of a tire carried by the branding machines.
