Abstract: The protective garage door cover comprises a composite textile, a plurality of fasteners, and a garage door. The garage door further comprises a plurality of door panels. The plurality of fasteners attach the composite textile to the garage door. The protective garage door cover forms a protective cover over the garage door. The protective garage door forms an insulating structure that insulates the garage door. The composite textile is a flexible structure such that the composite textile will bend with the garage door as the garage door is opened and closed.

Abstract: Systems and methods of staining a surface. An organic salt is used in combination with a metal salt to provide a decorative stain that can be used to stain any of a variety of pH basic surfaces, including concrete. In at least some implementations, urea hydrochloride or an equivalent thereof is used as an organic salt in combination with a metal salt to create an alkali reactive decorative stain that can be used to stain any of a variety of pH basic surfaces, including concrete. The urea hydrochloride is safe and environmentally fit to use. Different metal salts are used and/or mixed to obtain a desired color and/or appearance.
