  • Patent number: 9402431
Abstract: The clothing adjustment device enables the adjustment of an article of clothing. In one embodiment, the clothing adjustment device is placed upon a user's clothing, such as pants, shorts, skirts, or other clothing at waist level. The clothing adjustment device provides an adjustment head, an inner body, and an outer body. Both the inner body and the outer body provide a pair of fingers with an insertion aperture. The user inserts the section of the article of clothing to be cinched within the insertion aperture between the pair of fingers of the inner body and the outer body. The inner body then rotates in relation to the outer body to cause at least a portion of the article of clothing to be wound upon the inner body. The adjustment head and inner body are secured with a geared system that prevents the adjustment head from rotating allowing the clothing to unwind from the inner body.

  • Publication number: 20150265385
Abstract: A dental syringe may include a replaceable valve cartridge containing one or more valves. The valves may include air and water valves using a seating surface and an opposing seating surface with a relative angle formed between the two surfaces. The relative angle allows for regulation of the flow of fluid traveling through the valves. The replaceable valve cartridge may also include a system to remove a residual liquid from a tip of a dental syringe. Additionally, the replaceable valve cartridge may include a seal that prevents bleed-over of fluids within a dental syringe through use of first and second rings of elastic portions of the seal with a low pressure zone defined in between. Further, the dental syringe may include a tip retention insert which may be replaceable and may use either a pair of plates or a plurality of ball bearings to retain the dental syringe tips.

  • Publication number: 20120228463
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are related to tension adjustment for a tension spring in a flex arm. Example embodiments include a tension adjustment mechanism comprising a handle, a collar, and an adjustment nut. The adjustment nut is centrally threaded and engages with a threaded shaft. The adjustment nut is positioned between the collar and the tension spring of the flex arm. The collar surrounds the shaft and comprises at least one pin that protrudes toward the adjustment nut. The adjustment nut comprises a plurality of radial slots each separately configured to receive a pin. The handle is connected to the collar and configured to rotate the collar to displace the adjustment nut along the shaft. The handle may be further configured to disengage the pin with a radial slot, rotate to align the pin with a different radial slot, and engage the pin with the newly aligned radial slot.

  • Publication number: 20080137529
Abstract: Method and system for diagnosing communication faults in a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) session includes responding to a creation of a first interface by a customer of a VoIP service to a VoIP service provider, creating a second interface between the customer and the VoIP service provider, initiating a diagnostic tool from the second interface, providing a plurality of reports based on results of the diagnostic tool and the end viewer of such reports; and providing a solution to the communication fault. The second interface is created by instructing the customer to launch a web-based application via the first interface. Alternately, instructions to the customer are provided via means other than the first interface such as voicemail, email or Instant Message. The diagnostic tool is initiated by the customer entering basic information regarding a corresponding customer account.
