    Abstract: A snatch ring for off-road vehicle recovery has an annular core and an outer sheave. The outer sheave has an outer winch line groove and the annular core and the outer sheave are concentric. The annular core is rotatably engaged to the outer sheave so that the annular core and the outer sheave can rotate with respect to each other about an axis of rotation. The annular core has an anchor loop passage therethrough.
