  • Patent number: 11221426
Abstract: A method for deblending seismic signals includes entering as input to a computer recorded signals comprising seismic energy from a plurality of actuations of one or more seismic energy sources. A model of deblended seismic data and a blending matrix are initialized. A blending matrix inversion is performed using the initialized model. The inversion includes using a scaled objective function. The inversion is constrained by a thresholding operator. The thresholding operator is arranged to recover coefficients of the model of the deblended seismic data that are substantially nonzero, against a Gaussian white noise background. The thresholded model is projected into data space. Performing the blending matrix inversion is repeated if a data residual exceeds a selected threshold and the inversion is terminated if the data residual is below the selected threshold. At least one of storing and displaying an output of the blending matrix inversion is performed when the blending matrix inversion is terminated.

  • Publication number: 20190235116
Abstract: A method for attenuating multiple reflections from marine seismic signals includes estimating a multichannel prediction filter by minimizing energy between detected seismic signals and seismic signals representing water layer multiple reflections in combination with forcing a sparsity constraint on the estimated multichannel filter. Near offset seismic signals not present in the detected seismic signals are reconstructed by convolving the detected seismic signals with an inverse of the multichannel prediction filter. The multichannel prediction filter is convolved with the reconstructed near offset seismic signals to obtain a final multiple reflection model. The final multiple reflection model is subtracted from the detected seismic signals to obtain multiple reflection attenuated seismic signals.

  • Patent number: 8832711
Abstract: An application framework is disclosed for handling predefined events for various application modules executing as threads. Events are received and associated with a thread and an event handling function. Event handling functions are classified as mutually exclusive and non-mutually exclusive. Mutually exclusive functions are blocked while another mutually exclusive function is executing. Event handling functions are processed by setting a corresponding thread to execute the function and placing the thread in a ‘non-wait’ state. Threads in the ‘non-wait’ state are then executed concurrently under the control of a system thread manger and are returned to a ‘wait’ state when the handling function ends. Each such thread maintains the session state throughout use of the application.

  • Patent number: 8832030
Abstract: A method for restoring a content management system is disclosed. A virtual file system exposing backup data of a content management system stored in a backup data storage is created. The backup data is exposed without retrieving the backup data from the backup data storage. A selection of a portion of the backup data to be restored to the content management system is received via an interface associated with the virtual file system. The selected portion of the backup data is caused to be granularly restored to the content management system without restoring one or more unselected portions of the backup data.

  • Patent number: 8596613
Abstract: A swing support mobilization lift includes a jack and a pivotably positionable swing arms, pivotally coupled to the jack, such that the attachment mechanism is capable of being initially displaced in the plane of the jack mechanism during insertion of the lifting device in a narrowly accessible space adjacent to shelving. Then, the swing arms are capable of being pivoted to extend outwardly from the plane of the surface of a jack facing the shelving, such that the shelving may be attached to the swing arms, such as by pins tethered to the jack. In one example, a pair of swing arms disposed on opposite sides of a portion of the shelving sandwich the portion of the shelving and support opposite ends of the pins coupling the swing arms to the shelving.

  • Publication number: 20130181176
Abstract: A scissor mechanism comprises a pair of opposed jaws. The opposed jaws are defined at one end of a rigid member. At least one rigid member is pivotably engaged to a base plate. The base plate is capable of being coupled to a mobilization structure that is capable of being rolled on the ground. For example, the mobilization structure may comprise a jack or a bolt that is capable of raising and lowering the base plate. The jaws provide a strong grip on a portion of the shelving either under the influence of a strong biasing mechanism or by using a lever action to force one or more of the jaws closed onto the portion of the shelving. A bump stop may be adjusted to impinge on another portion of the shelving, which may prevent the shelving from tipping or sliding within the pair of jaws.

Abstract: A shelving mobilization assembly comprises a support adjustably retained within a channel formed in a pair of castor assemblies, the pair of castor assemblies each include an integrally formed U-shaped cross section between a plurality of castors. The support fits in the channel, and each end of the support and each of the pair of castor assemblies incorporate an interlocking tab and slots arranged such that the interlocking tab engages one of the slots, when the support fits in the channel of each of the pair of castor assemblies. The interlocking tab and corresponding slot adjustably retains the support in the channels of each of the pair of castor assemblies, such that the length between the pair of castor assemblies is defined at a fixed length, when the shelving is supported by the support.

  • Patent number: 8128334
Abstract: A support assembly provides for a method of mobilization that does not require removal of shelving and restocking of items on gondolas and warehouse pallet racking, even if the gondola or pallet racking is too wide for prior art mobilization methods. The support assembly comprises a pair of tubular members capable of engaging fork-like extensions of a hand truck or the like. The hand truck may have caster wheels for mobilization and may have a lifting mechanism for raising and lowering the support assembly by the fork-like extensions, when tongues extending from the tubular members are aligned and matingly engaged at a middle support and outer supports of the gondola. By using a plurality of such lift assemblies engaged along the length of the gondola or gondola run, a row of gondolas may be lifted and mobilized without removing shelving and restocking items on the shelves, even if the gondola is wide and the items stocked on the shelves of the gondola add substantial weight to the gondola.
