  • Publication number: 20110168855
Abstract: A rotating mounting assembly comprising an extension member and a downtilt member having hinge tabs that form a plurality of revolving nutplate hinges. The plurality of nutplate hinges coupling the extension member to the downtilt member such that the downtilt member rotates about the nutplate hinges relative to the extension member. The hinge tabs having a plurality of apertures. Coaxial alignment of apertures on an extension hinge tab with apertures on a downtilt hinge tab forming a plurality of adjustment features. Adjacent apertures on the extension hinge tabs having a different spacing than adjacent apertures on the downtilt hinge tabs in order to provide a series of highly-acute settings along the angular rotation of the assembly.

  • Publication number: 20100295748
Abstract: A housing for an antenna has an end member having a radome seat and a back extension. The end member also has at least one actuator housing with an external opening and an internal opening. The end member has no through passage from its external side to its internal side, other than the opening of the actuator housing, such that upon assembly with a back and a radome, the antenna is water-tight. A retention assembly has an internal retaining member and an internal retaining member receiver. An actuator has an external actuation interface, and is mounted in the actuator housing to be water-tight. The retention assembly has a first position and a second position. The first position engages the internal retaining member with the internal retention receiver such as to maintain a closed water-tight engagement with the back and the radome. The retention assembly has a second, released position, that allows disengagement of the end member from a reflector tray.

  • Publication number: 20070039464
Abstract: A dry gas production system for supplying dry gas to a pressurized space, such as an underground conduit or an aerial cable. The dry gas production system may include a modular enclosure that has a removable support to which multiple dry gas production modules are mounted. The support may be a mobile rack wheeled inside the enclosure and likewise removed from the enclosure while supporting the dry gas production modules. The dry gas production system may include multiple dry gas production modules that are operated as required to meet the dry gas demand for the pressurized space. The module compressor may include a variable frequency drive for driving the compressor motor at different speeds and may optionally include a mount with vibration isolation.

  • Patent number: 5595432
Abstract: A fighting fixture disclosed is designed for installation in a cove of a public transit vehicle providing ready access to a space behind it, without requiring a variety of specially designed fixtures for special access requirements. The fixture comprises a pair of battens extending generally vertically to support the fixture, a longitudinally extending card panel supported in movable relationship by the battens and having a groove adapted to mount an advertisement card, a socket connected to each of the battens cooperating to mount a fluorescent lamp, and a bezel supported by the battens and supporting a lens covering the mounted lamp. Access to the space is obtained by releasing a lower edge of the card panel and rotating it about pivot pins to an open position. Similarly, the bezel is pivoted to provide access to the mounted lamp. An advertisement car card placed on the card panel is retained at a lower edge by the card panel throughout the pivotal displacement of the panel.

  • Patent number: 5493979
Abstract: A guide mechanism for the roller presser bar of a sewing machine of the type that includes an upper surface roller feeder for imparting movement to the upper work surface and a presser foot that cooperates with the feed dog. The guide mechanism for the roller presser bar is independent of the guide mechanism for the presser foot bar. The independent guide mechanism for the roller presser bar avoids binding of the roller presser bar that occurs when a common guide mechanism is utilized for both the roller presser and the presser foot bar. The roller presser bar guide mechanism includes a pair of movable vertically aligned surfaces attached to the bar and a cooperating block attached to the sewing machine housing with a pair of adjustable guide plates.
