  • Patent number: 4047714
Abstract: Improved body exercising devices of the type having a pair of flexible lines, each including a loop in an end thereof for engagement by the hands or feet of one or more individuals. Each line passes over a pulley connected to a support assembly. The support assembly includes a length of flexible line, two intermediate portions of which are connected together to form a closed loop and a pair of depending legs to which the pulleys are attached. The hand and foot engaging loops are formed by self-locking knots and include a reinforcing cover member. The loose end of the knot may be either woven into the line itself or tucked into the end of the reinforcing member so as to avoid injury or discomfort to the user. The pulleys may also have camming shoulders such that a pair of pulleys attached to each other at their eyelets results in their assuming and maintaining a 15.degree. to 30.degree.

  • Patent number: 4035806
Abstract: A bracket for mounting an antenna on a vehicle, having an opening giving access to the interior of the vehicle and a closure member for closing the opening, has a base for attachment to the inside of the vehicle adjacent the opening and an antenna support member pivotally connected to the base for folding between an exposed position extending through the vehicle opening to support an antenna for use outside the vehicle, and a storage position inside the vehicle to conceal a supported antenna when not in use.

  • Patent number: 4001772
Abstract: A coded signaling and control system including one or more transmitters and one or more receivers, wherein both the transmitters and the receivers are coded or programmed to transmit a unique signal for actuating only selected ones of the receivers. Digital logic and switching circuits are used to generate a transmission sequence containing an initial reset burst followed by alternate shift and code bit signals terminating with a comparison and latching signal. All of the receivers in the system receive the initial reset signal and the alternate shift and data bit sequence; however, only the selected receiver programmed for the precise code being transmitted will generate a true comparison signal. Thereafter, all of the other receivers will be reset and the desired receiver will be sequenced to respond to an "off" or "on" latching signal for providing any desired output function, such as operating an alarm, controlling an associated piece of equipment, and the like.
