Abstract: A crude oil transportation system uses a dynamically positionable floating crude oil storage and offloading vessel and a dynamically positionable shuttle tanker. The dynamically positionable floating crude oil storage and offloading vessel is a self-contained unit including a flexible transfer hose for connecting to the production platform and a flexible discharge hose for connection to the dynamically positionable shuttle tanker.

Abstract: A system for transferring oil from an offshore tanker to a platform. The system comprises at least one flexible hose (4) which is adapted to direct transfer of oil from a supply means (7-10) on a deck (2) on the platform (1) to the tanker (58) in question, and a number of hose handling stations (3) which are distributed around the circumference of the platform deck (2). Each station (3) is provided with a coupling unit (15) which communicates with the supply means (7-10) and is arranged for connection or disconnection of an end (11) of the hose (4), and a handling means (18-22, 24, 25) for lowering or hoisting of the house end (11) to/from the surface (5) of the water around the platform (1).

Abstract: A device for installation in a floating vessel which is intended for receiving a buoy or a turret in a submerged receiving space at the bottom of the vessel. The device comprises a tubular body (5) dimensioned for installation in a shaft (2) extending vertically through the hull of the vessel and which, at its lower end, is arranged to receive a module unit (6) provided with a through opening (8) for receiving the buoy/turret. When the module unit (6) is installed in the tubular body (5), the module unit at its lower end forms a seal (37) against the tubular body (5), and at its upper end the module unit (6) is fixed in relation to the tubular body (5) by locking means (40).

Abstract: A vessel for use in offshore production or transport of hydrocarbons, and/or for loading/unloading of hydrocarbons, and/or for carrying out well operations. The vessel at its forward end is equipped with a submerged receiving space for receiving a bottom-anchored underwater buoy. A service shaft extends between the receiving space and the deck of the vessel. At the stern of the vessel, a coupling head is provided along with equipment for the connection of a hose for loading and unloading of oil.

Abstract: A method and a vessel for offshore oil loading, wherein the vessel comprises a number of center tanks (3) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vessel, and a number of wing tanks (5, 6) located in pairs on either side of respective center tanks, a loading line (19) being connected to the center tanks (3) via respective valves (20), and adjacent center tanks (3) being connected to each other via bulkhead valves (18).
