  • Patent number: 6918154
Abstract: A toothbrush has a number of rotatable brush assemblies mechanically linked so as to move together with a handle. Each rotatable brush assembly includes a wheel, with radially projecting bristles, configured to rotate about an axis which is roughly parallel to a plane of contact with the teeth. The axis of rotation is inclined relative to a primary direction of insertion of the toothbrush, corresponding to an extensional direction of the handle, by an angle of between about 15° and about 75°, and preferably closer to 45°.

  • Patent number: 6789763
Abstract: A method for operating a short range, air-to-air missile carried by an aircraft flown by a pilot. The missile includes a seeker operative to track a target. The method comprises providing a first indication to the pilot when the seeker is tracking a target, providing a second indication to the pilot when a rate of angular motion of the seeker falls below a given value for a predefined period.

  • Publication number: 20040128784
Abstract: A toothbrush has a toothbrush head supported by an elongated handle which defines an axis. A number of brush elements mounted on the toothbrush head, each including at least one tuft of bristles, have a dimension parallel to the axis being no more than about 5 mm. Each brush element assumes a released state projecting upright from the toothbrush head, and can be deflected in a given direction defined by a motion delineating configuration. The direction of deflection is at an angle of between about 15° and about 75° to the axis and perpendicular to a bristle extension direction.

  • Publication number: 20040061041
Abstract: A method for providing a pilot with information associated with at least one region of a field of view visible to the pilot from within a cockpit without requiring a visual display. The method includes the steps of determining an eye gaze direction relative to a given frame of reference for at least one eye of the pilot, determining a reference direction relative to the given frame of reference, comparing the eye gaze direction with the reference direction, and if the eve gaze direction and the reference direction are equal to within a given degree of accuracy, generating audio output audible to the pilot and indicative of information associated with the reference direction.
