Abstract: A display device includes a display screen and a directional element. The display screen includes a first display area and a second display area. The directional element transmits a first trigger signal and a second trigger signal. The first trigger signal informs the first display area to display a directory menu, and the second trigger signal selects an option of the directory menu, so that the second display area can display a sub directory menu corresponding to the selected option. A method of displaying menus on a display device is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for capturing and browsing image data synchronously, by the method, a user can browse all image data when he/she captures image data, so as to help him/her early to find bad captured image data and recapture the image data, which comprises the steps of: providing a portable device, which comprises an image capture device, a display screen and a controller; using the image capture device to capture a plurality of image data and storing them in the portable device when the portable device is operated in an image capture mode; the controller receiving a browsing triggering signal; and the controller executing a program triggered by the browsing triggering signal to play the image data on the display screen in sequence.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable electronic device with the ability of directly inserting image data into a menu, which comprises: a display device, for displaying data; an image capturing device, coupled to the display device, for capturing image data; a memory device, for temporarily storing the image data; a controller, coupled to the image capturing device, display device and memory device; and a menu program, displayed on the display device; thereby, the display device will display a menu with a display screen and the image data captured by the image capturing device will be directly inserted into the display screen when the menu program is executed. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a method for directly inserting image data into a menu.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a user interface with figures mapping to the keys, for allowing a user to select and control a portable electronic device, the portable electronic device comprises a display device, and a plurality of hardware keys are disposed on the portable electronic device to form a key field; thereby, the display device will display a figure field with a plurality of figures when the portable electronic device is powered on, and the figures will be mapped to the hardware keys layer by layer, therefore, every function represented by the figures can be executed when the user presses its mapping hardware key. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a portable electronic device having a user interface with figures mapping to the keys.
