The surface cleaning compound is a polymer having high density and high adhesive ability for removing imbedded contaminants from a working surface and grabbing the contaminants therefrom. The retainer is made of non-absorbing material that prevents lubricant and the surface cleaning compound being absorbed through the retainer.
