  • Publication number: 20100083342
Abstract: An AV transmission device includes a network cable and two transmission terminals. The network cable has eight transmission lines, which are grouped into four transmission line pairs. The two transmission terminals are respectively connected to one of two ends of the network cable. With the AV transmission device, power supply and a video signal can be coupled with each other and then transmitted via one of the four transmission line pairs. A control signal and left and right channel signals are respectively transmitted via one of the rest three transmission line pairs. Thus, when expanding an AV transmission range, it is not necessary to provide additional power supply at a remote location, signal transmission cost can be reduced, and a remote AV system can be conveniently operated locally.

  • Publication number: 20090150071
Abstract: In a road navigation method, a user's current location is transmitted from the user's handheld electronic device to a remote server according to the user's instruction or via a bidirectional transmission between the handheld electronic device and the remote server; and the remote server generates a reference electronic map from a linked electronic-map website or a built-in electronic map based on the user's current location, and transmits the reference electronic map to the user's handheld electronic device for guiding the user on a road. In this manner, the memory capacity of the handheld electronic device is not occupied by an electronic map, and the user is allowed to timely access to a worldwide electronic map for road navigation without the need of using specific software to analyze the electronic map.

  • Publication number: 20080249642
Abstract: An audio signal distribution control system includes a control circuit provided with a device selecting unit, and electrically connected to a plurality of audio signal generating devices; a plurality of control units electrically connected to the control circuit to receive audio signals output thereto by the control circuit and to output control signals to the control circuit; and a plurality of sound producing devices separately connected to the control units. The control units separately select one of the audio signal generating devices via the device selecting unit of the control circuit, and the sound producing devices are adjustable to different sound volumes via the control units.

  • Publication number: 20070162226
Abstract: The present invention provides an addressable GPS device, comprising a cover body, an electrical circuit, a GPS module and a Wi-Fi module. The electrical circuit is located inside the cover body, wherein an antenna is located on the electrical circuit to receive and transmit signals. A satellite antenna is formed on the GPS module to receive satellite signals so that GPS module can transform those satellite signals into data of a holder geographic position of the addressable GPS device with respect to the position's longitude, latitude, height, and his traveling speed and traveling distance. The Wi-Fi module has a fixed internet address programmed thereon. A Wi-Fi station is utilized to receive and transmit the fixed internet address and an internet access device is used to access the fixed internet address so that the GPS holder's geographic location can be obtained accurately.
