  • Patent number: 8406002
Abstract: An LNBF is disclosed. The LNBF includes a housing, a spacer, down-converter circuit, and an F-connector. The spacer is disposed on the housing, wherein a hole is formed on the spacer. The down-converter circuit board is disposed between the housing and the spacer. The F-connector is disposed on the spacer and electrically connected to the down-converter circuit board via the hole.

Date of Patent: March 26, 2013
    Assignee: Wistron NeWeb Corporation
    Inventors: Wen-Tsai Tsai, Tsan-Chou Wu, Ta-Jen Wu
  • Patent number: 8085213
Abstract: A low noise block converter feedhorn (LNBF) is disclosed. The LNBF comprises a PCB, a dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO), a chamber, a tuning screw, and a cover. The DRO is placed on the PCB. The chamber has a first partition, and the first partition is used to cover up the DRO. The chamber further comprises a round hole. The tuning screw passes through the round hole and is then used to adjust the oscillating frequency of the DRO. The cover is used to cover up the tuning screw in order to restrain the DRO from power leakage through the gap in between the round hole and the tuning screw.

  • Patent number: 7971756
Abstract: A filtering device includes an isolation substrate including a first plane and a second plane, a micro-strip line deposited on the first plane of the isolation substrate for transmitting signals, and a ground metal layer deposited on the second plane of the isolation substrate for providing grounding. A meander-shaped resonating cavity is formed in an area of the ground metal layer corresponding to an area of the micro-strip line, for generating a rejection band on the micro-strip line.
