  • Publication number: 20080180938
Abstract: A cooling fan capable of showing luminous figures includes an impeller and a control unit. The impeller provides a hub and a plurality of blades being attached to the circumferential side of the hub. At least one of the blades has a cut-out edge at a lateral side thereof and a slot is disposed at the circumferential side corresponding to the cut-out edge. The control unit has a first circuit board and a second circuit board. The first circuit board electrically connects with the second circuit board and extending outward from the second circuit board. At least a luminous component is arranged on the first circuit board and controlled with the second circuit board. The second circuit board is placed in the hub and the first circuit board penetrates the circumferential side via the slot to fit with the cut-out edge to form the same dimension as any other blade for weight of the impeller being distributed evenly.

  • Patent number: 6964580
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a cable strain-relief member for a PC fan, comprising a pressing part, two locking parts at both ends of the pressing part, and two releasing parts at the two joint portions between the pressing part and the locking parts. Accordingly, the strain-relief member can be set at a rib of the fan frame to firmly bind lead wires on the rib of the fan frame to prevent from being swung left and right, or being shaken up and down, to be loosened by an external force. Besides, the strain-relief member can be released for easy maintenance and packing of the fan according to the actual need.

  • Patent number: 6789609
Abstract: The present invention relates to a heat sink assembly structure having at least a heat sink fastening member combined with at least a heat sink. Each heat sink fastening member has a V-shaped protrusion, a slot, and an elastic lock member. The elastic lock member has a V-shaped cross sectional structure. The V-shaped protrusion of a first heat sink is combined tightly in the slot of a second heat sink for assembling the heat sink and for forming a V-shaped slot. The assembled heat sink is fixed in a base by adding a solder into the V-shaped slot.

  • Patent number: 6607023
Abstract: A structure for assembling a heat sink assembly uses at least an interlocking device to assemble at lease a heat sink fin. The improvement in the interlocking devices comprises a female slot, a protruding hook, and an opening hole. Said protruding hook of each first heat sink fin wedges into said female slot of an adjacent first heat sink fin by the shape of said protruding hook corresponding to said female slot, and said protruding hook of each first heat sink fin having a barb portion for hooking into said opening hole of said adjacent first heat sink fin for interlocking completely in the vertical direction. Besides, the protruding hook further includes a protruding portion, said protruding portion having a T-shaped cross-section configuration is correspondingly equal to said female slot for interlocking completely in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the heat sink assembly provided by the present invention may be interlocked in both horizontal and vertical direction.
