  • Patent number: 11254020
Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety cutter including a housing which receives a trigger, a transmission member, a pusher, a blade carrier and a blade. The transmission member is engaged operatively with the trigger via a gear assembly. The gear assembly allows the safety cutter to move the blade outward for a longer distance than conventional safety cutters. To prevent the gear assembly and the trigger rack portion from being displaced by tension generated during cutting, a first limiting member and a pair of second limiting members are provided in the housing. The blade carrier is releasably engaged with the transmission member to achieve automatic retraction of the blade into the housing after the blade leaves the cutting surface even if the trigger is not released.

  • Patent number: 10800053
Abstract: A trigger knife, having a knife body, a knife rack, a blade, a resilient piece, a trigger, a transmission mechanism and a blocking piece; the resilient piece provides resilient force to retract the blade; the trigger is partially exposed from the knife body; the transmission mechanism has first and second gear racks, and first and second gears; the first gear and the second gear are connected to the knife body; the first gear rack is provided on the trigger and engages with the first gear; the second gear rack is provided on the knife rack and engages with the second gear; the knife rack is provided with a groove; the groove extends in the same direction along which the knife rack extends; when the blade is extended to a desired position, the blocking piece abuts against a wall surface of the groove.

  • Publication number: 20200070371
Abstract: The safety cutter supports adjustment of the blade length which is allowed to expose outside the housing. It includes a housing, a blade carrier, a blade, a threaded shaft, a nut and a guiding member. The blade carrier is slidable along a blade carrier track provided within the housing. The blade removably engages a forward end of the blade carrier. The threaded shaft is disposed along the blade carrier track. The nut is restricted from axial rotation and engaged with the threaded shaft in such a way that rotation of the threaded shaft drives the nut to move axially along the threaded shaft. The guiding member is fixedly coupled to the blade carrier for guiding movement of the blade carrier and positioned to be movable between a rear end of the blade carrier track and the nut.

  • Patent number: 10306977
Abstract: A height adjustable desk including a desktop which engages with a pair of base supports by a pair of X-shaped frames and is adjustable between a fully raised position and a fully lowered position. The pair of X-shaped frames each has a first arm and a second arm. The pair of base supports each has a first biasing member which is configured to bias the corresponding second arm upwards to move the desktop towards the fully raised position, and a second biasing member which is configured to bias the corresponding first arm upwards to move the desktop towards the fully raised position. A pair of height adjustment members is provided on an underside of the desktop, each of which includes a handle, a guiding member, a connecting piece connected to the handle via a linkage mechanism and a biasing member.
