    Abstract: A method and an associated device for the writing of information into a record carrier body. The record carrier body is preferably made of a radiation-sensitive medium. The information is written in at least one sector of the record carrier body. During the first write operation, a part of the sector remains non-inscribed. The information is written in an interleaved manner on the record carrier body, the informtion is also written on the record carrier body in said non-inscribed part during a second write operation. The use of so-called "interleaving" protects the information written in the sector against an error burst.
