  • Publication number: 20240070822
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a blurring processing unit configured to generate a blurred image by applying a two-dimensional Gaussian filter having a filter size of S1×S2 to an input image, and a resolution conversion unit configured to generate, from the blurred image, a converted image of which a resolution is converted at a first conversion magnification R1 and a second conversion magnification R2. When the blurring processing unit sets a relation of S1>S2, a relation of R2>R1 is established, and when the blurring processing unit sets a relation of S2>S1, a relation of R1>R2 is established. Here, standard deviations of the Gaussian filter are set to be standard deviations ?1 and ?2, respectively. The blurring processing unit applies the Gaussian filter having a filter coefficient of ?2=?1 to the input image when S2 is different from S1.

  • Publication number: 20240064259
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a datum point determination unit configured to determine coordinates of a datum point for determining pixel values of second pixels included in a converted image including a plurality of second pixels in a coordinate plane of an input image including a plurality of first pixels, and an interpolation unit configured to determine pixel values of the second pixels based on a plurality of reference pixels. The datum point determination unit sets coordinates in the first direction of the first pixels among the plurality of first pixels as first direction end portion coordinates, and determines coordinates in the first direction of the datum point of the second pixels among the plurality of second pixels to be coordinates shifted to further inside of the input image than the first direction end portion coordinates by a distance longer than 0 and shorter than one pixel.

  • Patent number: 9297698
Abstract: A colorimetric method includes performing colorimetry on color patches to acquire colorimetric values, and determining whether or not color patches subjected to colorimetry are color patches that should undergo colorimetry based on the colorimetric values and reference values.

  • Publication number: 20090245649
Abstract: An object detection method for detecting a predetermined object image from a target image. A target image is contracted to generate a contracted image, and partitioned to generate a partitioned image. The predetermined object image is detected from the image using the image and a detection frame. The detection frame and the contracted image are used to detect the predetermined object image if the detection frame is equal to or larger than a predetermined size, and the detection frame and the partitioned image are used to detect the predetermined object image if the detection frame is smaller than the predetermined size.
