  • Publication number: 20100213661
Abstract: Provided is a diverter 15 capable of diverting banknotes in multiple directions and performing high-speed diversion of banknotes. A diversion member 21 rotationally moves to at least three stopping positions including a first stopping position connecting a first transport path 11 and a second transport path 12 to form a first transport passage, a second stopping position connecting the first transport path 11 and a third transport path 13 to form a second transport passage and a third stopping position connecting transport paths other than the first transport path 11 to form a third transport passage. The rotation speed of the diversion member 21 between the first stopping position and the second stopping position is lower than that between the first stopping position and the third stopping position and that between the second stopping position and the third stopping position.

  • Publication number: 20100163571
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a banknote storing and feeding unit 19 capable of increasing the maximum storage quantity of banknote 45 and stably storing and feeding banknote 45. A first tape 36 and a second tape 37 are pressed by a tape pressing body 87 between first and second winding reels 38 and 39 and a winding drum 40 so as to come into contact with each other. Even the banknote 45 having a short length in a transporting direction is held between the first tape 36 and second tape 37 at a position of the tape pressing body 87 for transportation. An outer diameter of the winding drum 40 is detected by an outer diameter detecting unit 85, and the tape pressing body 87 is moved by a moving unit 92 in accordance with the detected outer diameter of the winding drum 40, and the tape pressing body 87 is moved to an appropriate position following a change in the outer diameter of the winding drum 40.

  • Patent number: 7455183
Abstract: An accumulating device is capable of securely accumulating sheets or the like having dimensional differences on the basis of the rear ends in the taking-in direction thereof. In this device, a stopper advances from above to an advanced position between the tip end regulating wall and the rear end regulating wall and stops the tip ends in the taking-in direction of the sheets to be taken in, whose length in the taking-in direction is shorter than a maximum length. The stopper is supported movably in the vertical direction with respect to the advancing and retreating mechanism which causes the stopper to advance and retreat between the advanced position and the retreated position, and presses the sheets in the downward direction. The stopper stops the tip ends in the taking-in direction of the sheets having dimensional differences and allows the device to accumulate those sheets.

  • Patent number: 7029008
Abstract: To provide an accumulating device 71 that is capable of securely accumulating sheets or the like P having dimensional differences on the basis of the rear ends in the taking-in direction thereof. The stopper 111a advances from upward to the advanced position between the tip end regulating wall 79 and the rear end regulating wall 80 and stops the tip ends in the taking-in direction of sheets or the like P to be taken in, whose length in the taking-in direction of sheets or the like P is shorter than the maximum length. The stopper 111a is supported movably in the vertical direction with respect to the advancing and retreating mechanism by which the stopper 111a is caused to advance and retreat between the advanced position and the retreated position, and presses sheets or the like P in the downward direction.

  • Patent number: 6978926
Abstract: The invention provides a circulating type bank note depositing and dispensing machine with which the progress of depositing and dispensing is made visible from a customer side, speeding up the temporary storage of deposited bank notes and facilitating the return of the temporarily stored bank notes if the deposit is not approved. The bank note depositing and dispensing ports are disposed on the upper side of the machine body, making it possible for a customer to observe or check the progress of a deposit or dispensing. Temporarily stored deposited bank notes are disposed in the front side area of the machine body, and if the deposit is not approved, the front side door of the temporary storage portion opens to allow the temporarily stored bank notes to be taken out from the front side of the machine body, facilitating the quick return of the temporarily stored bank notes.
