  • Patent number: 6775380
Abstract: A switch comprises a seat, a key body, a first elastomer, a second elastomer, and a cover with an elastic portion thereon. When the key body is pushed by an applied force, an electric signal is generated for being outputted for controlling switching and various of selection functions. A neck portion of the key body has a concave portion, a plurality of convex portions are formed on the concave portion. When the key body is pushed by an applied force, the selection of icons or switching of the window can be executed. The convex point slides on the convex portions so as to generate voices; thereby, the use feeling that the switch is pressed.

  • Patent number: 6717572
Abstract: A modular rolling axis apparatus for installing in a computer peripheral device such as a keyboard, a mouse device, a joystick, a remote controller, a mobile phone, a notebook computer, or a handheld computer or the like consists of a circuit board, two support elements mounting to the circuit board and a rotary rolling axis located between the two support elements. When the rolling axis is driven and depressed, a signal for processing execution or opening of a selected function is output, and processes for execution or opening of the selected function are performed for switching or scrolling viewing pages on the window.

  • Publication number: 20030098842
Abstract: An improved directional switch mainly utilizes a piece of elastic member to form a single elastic structure to couple with a conductive member to construct a small size directional switch that is easy to assemble. The structure includes a base block coupling with a lid, and a control unit and the conductive member located in the bas block. The base block has contact terminals and a common contact terminal located at the bottom thereof. Applying a force on the control unit to depress the conductive member, the conductive member will be moved downwards to connect one contact terminal and the common contact terminal to output a directional signal.
