Publication number: 20240131866Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises: a tread portion having a ground contacting surface; a sidewall portions having an outer surface; a bead portions; a carcass extending between the bead portions; and an inner rubber extending between bead portions. The inner rubber comprises a first portion extending through the tread portion with a first thickness t1, and a second portion extending through the sidewall portion with a second thickness t2. The first thickness t1 is more than the second thickness t2. In a meridian cross section of the tire under its normal state, when a first reference point (Pb1), a second reference point (Pb2), a shoulder reference point (Ps), a reference line segment (Lb), and a shoulder line segment (Ls) are defined, then a length (L1) of the shoulder line segment (Ls) is 85.9% to 89.3% of a length (L2) of the reference line segment (Lb).Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Applicant: Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Tatsuya SASAKI, Tsukasa YANO, Rena ONITSUKA, Masaki TERASHIMA, Yusuke SUEYOSHI, Hiroyuki NAKAYAMA, Junya SUENO

Publication number: 20240099210Abstract: The present inventors aimed to identify the gene responsible for the temperature-sensitive male sterility trait in “PL12” and to provide a method for producing conditional male sterile plants targeting the gene, and performed whole genome sequence analysis on “PL12” and the original variety thereof to compare the two. As a result, it was found that there was a deletion of about 150 kb in “PL12” chromosome 7. Then, as for this region, six types of partial deletion lines were produced by genome editing, and the presence or absence of the temperature-sensitive male sterility trait in each line was used as an index to successfully narrow the range, containing the responsible mutation, down to about 10 kb. Furthermore, as a result of creating a line with genome editing-disrupted functions of the two genes located in this region, the gene responsible for the temperature-sensitive male sterility trait was successfully identified.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 25, 2021Publication date: March 28, 2024Applicant: National Agriculture and Food Research OrganizationInventors: Makiko KAWAGISHI, Kentaro SASAKI, Tsukasa NUNOME

Patent number: 9162199Abstract: Provided is a two-component mixing container in which a piston member may be capable of a rotation motion operation and a linear motion operation without the need for a complex guide groove. Two or more spring structure portions are provided at the piston member. The two or more spring structure portions impart a pressing force on an inner wall surface of the third cylindrical portion. Two or more fitting grooves are formed in the third cylindrical portion. In this fitting state, the piston member and a second-component containing member rotate together without contact portions getting out of the fitting grooves. When a force of a predetermined level or higher toward a third bottom wall portion is applied to an operating rod portion with a second-component containing chamber and a mixing chamber being communicable with each other, the contact portions get out of the fitting grooves.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2014Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Assignee: SHOFU INC.Inventors: Tsukasa Sasaki, Ryouji Takei, Toshiyuki Nakatsuka, Shuji Sakamoto, Satoshi Takano, Satoshi Kawahara
