  • Publication number: 20240101924
Abstract: A lubricating oil composition may contain a base oil (A) and a dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B), in which the nitrogen atom content based on the solid content of the dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B) is 0.50 to 1.50% by mass, and the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) thereof is 100,000 or more, and the content in terms of the solid content based on the total amount of the composition of the dispersant-type viscosity index improver (B) is more than 0.05% by mass and less than 5.0% by mass. The lubricating oil composition may exert excellent wear resistance in a state contaminated with soot.

  • Patent number: 11130927
Abstract: The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for two-wheeled vehicles, which is able to not only suppress a lowering of fatigue life of engine parts while making fuel saving properties (in particular, fuel saving properties at the time of low speed) favorable but also make clutch friction characteristics of two-wheeled vehicles favorable. The present invention is concerned with a lubricating oil composition for two-wheeled vehicles, including a base oil (A) having a viscosity index of 120 or more, an ethylene-propylene copolymer (B), and a metal-based detergent (C), wherein the content of the ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) is 0.

  • Patent number: 10760030
Abstract: A grease of the invention contains a fluorine synthetic oil as a base oil and an inorganic acid salt that is at least one selected from phosphate, tungstate, sulfate and sulfite. The grease of the invention is suitably usable in a bearing, a gear and the like because of an excellent wear resistance and a low environmental burden.

  • Patent number: 4644013
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to foam particles of a linear, uncrosslinked ethylenic resin which can be expansion molded by heating in its uncrosslinked state. The present disclosure is also concerned with a process for preparing foam particles of a linear uncrosslinked ethylenic resin and a process for the in-mold foam molding of said resin particles.

  • Patent number: 4366263
Abstract: An expansion-molded product made from expanded cross-linked polyethylene particles each of which has an outer skin and inner cellular core, said outer skin each being fused and welded together to form an interfacial membrane whose average thickness is as thick as at least three times that of a cell membrane of the inner cellular core, is prepared by charging a lot of the particles into a mold, heating the particles therein to such an extent that the space among the particles is filled and then aging thus obtained molded product. The expanded particle each has a structure having an outer skin on an inner cellular core, the outer skin being as thick as at least three times cell membrane of the inner cellular core. The expandable particles are prepared by impregnating a foaming agent into the cross-linked polyethylene particles and heating so that the expandable particles are subjected to a step in which the foaming agent existing in the surface thereof is preferentially forced to evaporate.

  • Patent number: 4317888
Abstract: Polyolefin foam having small, uniform cell size is prepared (1) by mixing a polyolefin resin with (a) a volatile organic blowing agent and (b) from about 0.1 to about 5 weight percent, based upon the polyolefin resin weight, of a cell control agent (e.g., such as amorphous silica having a pH of from 3.5 to 4.5), said cell control agent being in the form of nonporous microspheres having an average particle size of from about 5 to about 100 m.mu. and (2) by thereafter extrusion-expanding the resultant mixture.
