  • Publication number: 20110114740
Abstract: A dividing member (25) divides an inside of a storage tank (41) into a humidification region (31) and a supply region (32), and a space above the supply region (32) is covered with a covering member (26). In water, the dividing member (25) defines a communication path (33) through which the supply region (32) and the humidification region (31) communicate with each other. Active species generated in an electrical discharge unit (51) are supplied to the supply region (32) to purify the water. A release of the supplied active species to outside is reduced by the dividing member (25) and the covering member (26), and the water in the supply region (32), which is purified by the active species flows into the humidification region (31) through the communication path (33).

  • Publication number: 20110000374
Abstract: An air processing device is provided by which a current-carrying section is attached to a casing by an insulating member having a covering section covering an outer periphery face of a current-carrying section and a tube-like section in which a power source-side end of the covering section is supported by a tube bottom section. This consequently secures a long insulating distance from an electric discharge spray section and a charged dust collecting section via the current-carrying section to the casing. As a result, the respective electrodes and the casing can have an improved insulating performance therebetween even under an environment where water droplets are supplied.

  • Publication number: 20100313761
Abstract: Disclosed is a dust collector (30) that is disposed in an air passageway (15) to which water droplets (21a) are supplied, and that includes a dust collecting electrode portion (31b) which electrically attracts dust charged in the air. The dust collecting electrode portion (31b) is made of a plate-like member having a mesh-like structure with a plurality of pores, thereby reducing an interfacial tension between the water droplets (21a) adhering on the surface of the dust collecting electrode portion (31b) and the dust collecting electrode portion (31b). Thus, water droplets are prevented from increasing in size on the surface of a dust collecting electrode, and a decrease in the dust collection capability due to adhesion of dust or the like is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20100258644
Abstract: Purifying substances generated in a water purification unit are imparted to water in a water tank. The water containing the purifying substances is supplied to an adsorbing member of a humidification rotor. In the adsorbing member, harmful substances etc. contained in the water are purified by the purifying substances. Consequently, the clean humidification water is imparted from the humidification rotor to air.
