    Abstract: An information processing system which includes at least one terminal having input apparatus for inputting data to the system and transmission apparatus for outputting the data inputted from the input apparatus, a display for displaying data, a communication line for transmitting data outputted from the terminal, and a control unit having at least one receiver buffer for storing data transmitted from the terminal via the communication line. The control unit is operable to display the data, which is stored in the receiver buffer, on the display.
