Abstract: There is disclosed a compound shown by a formula of ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or acyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms: R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are a hydrogen atom, alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, phenyl radical, halogen atom, cyano radical, acyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, nitro radical, alkoxy group having 1 or 2 carbon atoms, or substituted or non-substituted amino group, respectively; n is an integer of 1-3; and dotted line means a possible ring, and a salt thereof. The compound and salt bind with muscarinic receptor in brain to develop a powerful actuation thereof and thus those can be used as an effective ingredient for preventing and curing senile dementias, and more particularly Alzheimer's disease.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hydantoin derivative, salt thereof, process for the preparation thereof, and medicine containing the derivative. Abstract: 1-Pyrrolidineacetamide derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen atom or a trialkylsilyl group, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogen atom, respectively, when R.sub.1 is hydrogen atom, R.sub.4 is an alkyl group, R.sub.5 is a radical of ##STR2## in which R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 are an alkyl group, respectively, m and n are an integer of 1 to 3, respectively,or R.sub.4 represents together with R.sub.5 a hetero cyclic ring having nitrogen and silicon atoms or piperazine ring having a substituent of ##STR3## in which R.sub.6 and n have the meanings as referred to, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 as well as R.sub.3 and R.sub.5 form a hetero cyclic ring, respectively, connected with an alkylene chain, where R.sub.1 is the trialkylsilyl group, salts thereof, a process for the preparation thereof, as well as use thereof as for a medicine.

Abstract: 1,4-Dihydropyridine derivatives represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is cycloalkylmethyl group and the other is a group of ##STR2## in which R.sup.3 is hydrogen atom or lower alkyl group and R.sup.4 is hydrogen atom, hydroxyl radical, carboxyl radical, alkoxycarbonyl group, carbamoyl radical, phenyl radical, substituted phenyl radical or trialkylsilyl group, or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be bonded each other, and n and m are an integer of 1 to 6, respectively salts thereof, a process for the preparation of same as well as a pharmaceutical agent comprising the compound or salt, as an effective ingredient.

Abstract: Novel 2-oxopyrrolidine compounds represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are hydrogen or alkyl group, respectively, A is alkylene group or phenyl substituted alkylene group, and B is alkylene group,or a salt thereof, a process for the preparation thereof, and a pharmaceutical agent comprising the compound or salt as an effective component.
