Publication number: 20090051358Abstract: The present invention is achieved for the purpose of easily detecting a crack or flaw existing in the silicon layer of a wafer in a short period of time. The flaw detector thus provided includes a coil sensor placed at a predetermined distance from the surface of the silicon layer; a radiofrequency applier for applying a radiofrequency to the coil sensor; a scanner for relatively moving the silicon layer and the coil sensor with a constant distance between the surface of the silicon layer and the coil sensor; and a crack detector for detecting a crack or flaw existing in the silicon layer by detecting the change of a signal provided from the coil sensor or the change in the radiofrequency applied by the radiofrequency applier. The frequency of the radiofrequency applied by the radiofrequency applier may be set between 5 MHz and 200 MHz. This enables a flaw detection for a silicon layer which has been considered to be impossible.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2006Publication date: February 26, 2009Applicant: TETSUO SAKAKIInventors: Tomohisa Shirasaka, Tetsuo Sakaki, Tsuneo Kobayashi

Publication number: 20030108962Abstract: By examining whether or not there occurs a minor cancer in the body and analyzing the ALP isozyme patterns for the total estimation, an early cancer not only in a specific organ but also in any site in the body is found out and a high-risk group is identified. Namely, a method of cancer estimation by ALP isozymes comprises the steps of: fractionating serum by electrophoresis; separating proteins in the serum; color-developing the ALP isozymes with an ALP isozyme-staining solution to thereby detect the ALP isozymes; and, estimating the risk of the cancer. The method is characterized in that the proliferation of cancer cells is totally analyzed based on, in the patterns of ALP I to ALP V isozymes: the appearance of the ALP I and the ratio thereof; the bioactivity ratio of ALP II to ALP III; and, changes in ALP isozyme angle (ALP-A) showing the sharpness of ALP II and ALP III, whereby the proliferation state of the minor cancer is estimated.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2002Publication date: June 12, 2003Inventor: Tsuneo Kobayashi

Patent number: 5210041Abstract: A wafer manufacturing process for a semiconductor integrated circuit device, including testing the semiconductor wafer at a unit of chip each time a predetermined treating step is performed. The test results are feed to a computer control for restricting succeeding treatments or further testing of chip or chips based on the test results and the predetermined number of chips to be produced. Semiconductor wafer(s) is/are loaded for manufacture on the basis of the number of chips to be produced, taking into account of any losses created by defective chips detected during each testing step and any excess created by additional semiconductor wafers loaded in response to shortages created by defects. The excess chips are monitored by the computer control and any succeeding treatments or further testing of the excess chips are halted to save time and manufacturing costs.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 1991Date of Patent: May 11, 1993Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Tsuneo Kobayashi, Kensuke Nakata

Patent number: 5128929Abstract: Sometimes digital data become out of order as it passes through a time division switching system. This invention restores the proper order by transmitting sequence information with the digital data. At the receive end, the data is assembled in its proper and original order in buffer storage means responsive to the sequence information.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1989Date of Patent: July 7, 1992Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Tsuneo Kobayashi

Patent number: 4905226Abstract: The invention relates to a time division switching system which may transmit both voice and data signals. The data signals may be transmitted at a much higher speed than the voice signals, such as twice the speed, for example. To do this, the data signals are split into two time slots which are separately transmitted. Since the two time frames are so closely related, they must be transmitted within the same frame as a unit. This is done by a combination of two memory switches and control means for transmitting multi-element information. The two memory switches are used in an alternating sequence.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 1988Date of Patent: February 27, 1990Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Tsuneo Kobayashi

Patent number: 4710952Abstract: The invention relates to a distributed control-type electronic switching system which includes a first group of processors paired for act/standby redundancy, and a second group of master processors which are provided as single units. The first group of processors is connected to the speech-path switches and line and trunk circuits of a telephone switching system while the second processor group controls the various connections for the speech-path switches and the line and trunk circuits. Data communications between the first group of processors and the second group of processors is achieved on a distributed basis such that each processor of the first group designates a subset of the second group of processors as potential receivers, and conducts communications with the first non-busy processor of the subset.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1986Date of Patent: December 1, 1987Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Tsuneo Kobayashi

Patent number: 4038819Abstract: A throttle opener comprises a diaphragm apparatus installed between a throttle valve provided within a throttle bore and an air pump for delivering air to an air injection device for controlling the opening of the throttle to enhance the burning of an air-fuel mixture, thereby decreasing the amount of unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas. The diaphragm apparatus includes a diaphragm member movably fixed therein, responsive to the high delivery pressure from the air pump at the beginning of deceleration period of a vehicle to open the throttle valve slightly enough to prevent misfire of the mixture, thus decreasing the amount of unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 1974Date of Patent: August 2, 1977Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Eiji Yoshikawa, Tsuneo Kobayashi

Patent number: 3999524Abstract: A control system for controlling the opening of a throttle valve of a vehicle comprises a throttle valve actuating mechanism and a diaphragm apparatus including a diaphragm member which divides the casing of the diaphragm apparatus into two chambers, the first chamber being communicated through an orifice and air chamber with an intake manifold leading to an engine while the second chamber being communicated directly with the intake manifold. When a vehicle is decelerated, the vacuum in the intake manifold is increased with the result that the vacuum in the second chamber is increased while the vacuum in the first chamber does not increase, because of the presence of the orifice and air chamber so that the vacuum in the second chamber will become higher than that in the first chamber, pulling the diaphragm member toward the second chamber, which drives the throttle valve actuating mechanism to actuate the throttle valve to open to feed more air fuel mixture, thus preventing misfire.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 1975Date of Patent: December 28, 1976Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tsuneo Kobayashi, Hidetaka Nohira
