  • Patent number: 7411222
Abstract: A package for light emitting element including a package main body 1 having a bottom face 7a on which a light emitting element 2 is arranged, and a concave portion 7 which is formed in an inverted truncated cone shape by an inner wall face 7b intersecting with the bottom face 7a with a predetermined angle, and a translucent member 6 filled in the concave portion 7 of the package main body 1, the angle between the inner wall face 7b composing the concave portion 7 and the bottom face 7a is selected within ±15° of the incident critical angle in which a direct light radiated from the light emitting element 2 undergoes total reflection at the interface between the translucent member 6 and air.

  • Patent number: 5453663
Abstract: A lighting apparatus has a secondary battery, at least two light emitters connected in parallel with each other, first switches, and second switches. When the first switches are each ON, i.e., closed and the second switches are each OFF, i.e., open, the light emitters are connected in parallel with each other and in series with the secondary battery. When the first switches are each OFF and the second switches are each ON, the light emitters and secondary battery are connected in series.

  • Patent number: 5105251
Abstract: A semiconductor of the present invention comprises first and second power MOS transistors of the same channel type, which are formed on the same semiconductor chip in a common drain, and means for supplying a control signal to each gate of these transistors. According to the above-mentioned structure, formation of one chip can be obtained by use of a common drain, thereby obtaining a switch member having high integration and high reliance.

  • Patent number: 4106595
Abstract: This invention in general relates to a disc brake having a caliper attached to a support secured to a structural part of a vehicle or an attachment thereto to brake the vehicle by causing the members of the caliper to press friction pads against both sides of a disc rotor which is connected to the vehicle, and, more particularly to an improvement in the disc brake of such a type effected by removing the protrudent parts that have conventionally been provided on the front of the support confronting the disc rotor and by thus making the support into a shape that permits insertion of the disc rotor through the front thereof for easy mounting of the disc brake on the vehicle. The improved construction of the disc brake is particularly suitable for use in large vehicles.
