  • Patent number: 8864709
Abstract: In a medical liquid supply device, a control unit controls a liquid supply driver so that a liquid flows from the liquid supply driver in a liquid supply path regardless of whether a liquid-supply ON mode is selected. All of the liquid flowing from the liquid supply driver flows into a communication path when the liquid-supply ON mode is not selected. At least a part of the liquid flowing from the liquid supply driver does not flow into the communication path and is thereby supplied from a distal end of the liquid supply path when the liquid-supply ON mode is selected.

  • Publication number: 20140288465
Abstract: An ultrasound surgery system includes: a handpiece including an ultrasound transducer that generates ultrasound vibration and a treatment portion to which the ultrasound vibration is transmitted; a drive current output section provided in a power supply apparatus to which the handpiece is detachably connected, the drive current output section producing and outputting a drive current for driving the ultrasound transducer; a drive frequency output section that detects and outputs a drive frequency for driving the ultrasound transducer with a resonant frequency of the ultrasound transducer; a first information storage section that stores first information including a parameter unique to the handpiece; and a variable current setting section that variably sets the drive current produced by the drive current output section, based on the drive frequency detected by the drive frequency output section, in order to maintain an amplitude or a vibration velocity of the ultrasound vibration in the treatment portion at a p

  • Publication number: 20140221878
Abstract: A manufacturing method of an ultrasonic probe includes analyzing a first lateral vibration which is superposed on a longitudinal vibration because of an asymmetric shape of a distal asymmetric portion when the ultrasonic probe is longitudinally vibrated. The manufacturing method includes specifying a bending position to bend a proximal-direction side part of the ultrasonic probe so that the proximal-direction side part is parallel to a X-Y plane and tilted relative to a X-axis, a second lateral vibration, which has the same wavelength and vibration direction as the first lateral vibration and which is in anti-phase with respect to the first lateral vibration, being superposed on the longitudinal vibration and the first lateral vibration in the ultrasonic probe while the ultrasonic probe is bent at the bending position.

  • Publication number: 20140188012
Abstract: An ultrasonic probe includes a first coupled vibration member and a second coupled vibration member each of which extends along a longitudinal axis between a first anti-node position of an ultrasonic vibration and a second anti-node position of the ultrasonic vibration located to a distal direction side of the first anti-node position. The second coupled vibration member vibrates in the same mode as the first coupled vibration member. A first groove of the first coupled vibration member and a second groove of the second coupled vibration member cooperate with each other and thereby form at least a part of a passage inside a multiple-members vibrating portion formed by the first coupled vibration member and the second coupled vibration member.

  • Publication number: 20140188014
Abstract: A treatment portion includes a treatment region which treats a treatment part with a liquid which has flowed out from a distal end opening portion and with ultrasonic vibrations while the treatment region is in abutment with the treatment part. The treatment portion further includes a hydrophilic region which is formed by the application of a hydrophilic coat and which is provided in part of the circumferential surface of the treatment portion to be provided from the treatment region to an end portion of the treatment portion located in the distal end opening portion in a longitudinal axis direction.

  • Publication number: 20140066818
Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment device includes a transmitting connection section connecting a proximal-side vibration transmitting section to a distal-side vibration transmitting section at an anti-node position of an ultrasonic vibration. The ultrasonic treatment device includes a detecting section detecting a coupled state in which a treatment unit is coupled with a vibrator unit or a non-coupled state in which the treatment unit is not coupled with the vibrator unit, and a supply control section controlling a supply state of a generating electric power from an electric power supply section based on a detection result of the detecting section when a first vibration generating operation is input.

  • Publication number: 20130274636
Abstract: An ultrasonic treatment device includes a suction passage defining portion defining a suction passage along a longitudinal axis inside a probe, and a clearance defining portion defining a clearance between a sheath inner peripheral portion and a probe outer peripheral portion. The ultrasonic treatment device includes a suction port defining portion defining a suction port, the suction port communicating with the suction passage, in the probe outer peripheral portion in a state that a part of the suction port becomes a non-exposed portion whose outer peripheral direction side is covered with a sheath, and an opening defining portion defining an opening in a sheath outer peripheral portion, the opening communicating with the clearance.

  • Publication number: 20130274637
Abstract: A manufacturing method of an ultrasonic generating device includes calculating performance value based on a first electromechanical coupling factor in thickness directions and a second electromechanical coupling factor in diametrical directions for each of existing piezoelectric elements, calculating, for each of temporary conditions, a temporary influence value on the basis of a deviation of temporary amplitude of the ultrasonic vibrations, generated by the supply of the current having the predetermined current value, from a target amplitude in a target condition. The manufacturing method includes selecting the corresponding mounted piezoelectric element to be mounted on each of the element mounting portions from the existing piezoelectric elements so that the sum of actual influence values of all the element mounting portions is within a predetermined range with respect to the target amplitude.
