    Abstract: Provided is an electromagnetic-wave detection apparatus capable of performing accurate detection of an electromagnetic wave. An electromagnetic-wave detection apparatus (10) includes a radiation system (111) configured to radiate an electromagnetic wave toward a space in which a target is present, a first detection unit (20) configured to detect a reflected wave that is the electromagnetic wave radiated by the radiation system and reflected by the target, a calculation unit (145) configured to calculate a distance to the target on the basis of detection information that is obtained by the first detection unit and that relates to the reflected wave, and a radiation control unit (143) configured to cause the radiation system to radiate the electromagnetic wave. The radiation control unit causes a first electromagnetic wave to be radiated and then causes a second electromagnetic wave with a greater output than the first electromagnetic wave to be radiated.

The pulse width modulator generates a pulse width modulated switching signal based on a triangular wave and an audio signal, and provides the switching signal to the first output circuit. The slew rate limiting amplifier is connected to an input part of the pulse width modulator to which the audio signal is provided, and limits a slew rate of output. The sound-producing device is connected in series to an inductor connected to a first output node of the first output circuit. The sound-producing device and the inductor constitute an LC filter.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum which is exposed by a line head. The line head includes a fluorescent head having a plurality of individually driveable light points which are aligned in a plurality of sublines in the direction of the width of the photosensitive drum. Respective light points of the fluorescent head are driven by a line driver in accordance with drive data from a shift register which holds the drive data for all the light points. One print line is formed by a set of four sublines. In the case where the thinning of a line width is to be corrected, the print line is formed by sublines generated according to a fattening amount, whereby the line width is fattened. When the apparatus is used as a facsimile or a printer, a fattening amount for a facsimile or a fattening amount for printer is set.
