Abstract: A content reproducing device includes an IP telephone unit that conducts IP telephone communications using a predetermined protocol, an internet communication unit that communicates with a content server storing content data through the Internet, a content reproducing unit that reproduces the content data, and an authentication request unit that requests the server to authenticate a downloading of the content data through the IP telephone unit when the internet communication unit transmits a request for downloading the content data from the content server. The internet communication unit receives the content data downloaded from the content server. The content reproducing unit reproduces the downloaded content data.

Abstract: An IP telephone device is provided and has a storage unit which stores a plurality of initial setup data corresponding to respective providers, an input unit which input a telephone number, a selection unit which specifies a provider managing the inputted telephone number based on a corresponding relation between telephone numbers and the respective providers, and which reads an initial setup data corresponding to the specified provider from the storage unit, and an output unit which outputs the initial setup data read by the selection unit.

Abstract: A router controls transmission of packets over a plurality of networks. The router has a function of carrying out address translation of addresses added to the packets between private addresses and global addresses. A plurality of interfaces are each connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of networks. A first storage device stores data for the address translation, the data being set by a user. A second storage device stores information for applying the data stored in the first storage device to each of the plurality of interfaces, the information being set by the user. A control device prepares translation management information for each of the plurality of interfaces, based on the data stored in the first storage device and the information stored in the second storage device. A translation device is arranged in each of the plurality of interfaces, for carrying out the address translation of one of the addresses added to each packet of the packets, based on the translation management information.

Abstract: A communication terminal device, interconnecting with a network system like the ISDN system, is configured by a CPU and a memory which stores calling identification numbers and called identification numbers with respect to communication companions who are registered in advance. Herein, one calling identification number and at least one called identification number are registered with respect to each communication companion. At a communication-sending event, a user designates a desired communication companion so that its calling identification number is automatically read out from the memory; and consequently, the communication terminal device automatically calls up the desired communication companion through the network system. At a communication-receiving event, the communication terminal device is informed of a calling party number corresponding to a calling party who accesses thereto through the network system.

Abstract: A data transmitting equipment transmitting data between a desired remote equipment connected via communication line, comprising password setting means, communication control means and status display means. The password set by a user is stored in the password setting means. Transmission control means compare said password with a set password in a remote equipment, allow said data transmitting of said data if both passwords are consistent, delete said set password when said transmitting ended. If the password of the password setting means is not deleted, status display means show that said password remains in the password setting means. According to the above mentioned present invention the password is automatically deleted after the end of the data transmission, and moreover the set password is never displayed during or after use. Accordingly, an exposure of the password to a third party is prevented.
