  • Publication number: 20130058707
Abstract: A modular furniture has multiple first furniture parts, multiple second furniture parts and multiple assembling devices. The second furniture parts are respectively connected to the first furniture parts and each has a mounting recess. The assembling devices are respectively mounted between the first furniture parts and the second furniture parts, and each assembling device has a holding kit and an engaging frame. The holding kit is connected to one of the first furniture parts and has a positioning rod and a pushing element. The engaging frame is mounted in the mounting recess of one of the second furniture parts, selectively engages the holding kit and has an engaging panel and two engaging recesses formed in the engaging panel. One of the engaging recesses selectively engages the positioning rod in the annular groove and the other engaging recess selectively engages the engaging rod.

  • Publication number: 20120324796
Abstract: A safety gate has two frame assemblies, a shaft fixing assembly and a stretcher assembly. A relative distance between the two frame assemblies is fixed by the shaft fixing assembly first. The stretcher assembly further pushes the two frame assemblies outwardly so that the two frame assemblies tightly abut against two walls of a mounting premise and can be held on the walls securely. When the safety gate is not in use, the stretcher assembly is released to loosen the safety gate from the walls and the stretcher assembly can be moved to elsewhere. As the safety gate can be repeatedly mounted without having to readjust the relative distance between the two frame assemblies with the shaft fixing assembly, the operation of the safety gate is easy and convenient.

  • Publication number: 20120255234
Abstract: A safety gate has a gate frame, a pivotable fence, a latch device and a fence stopper. The gate frame has a base, two side frames and a block formed on the base. The pivotable fence is mounted within the gate frame. One side of the pivotable fence is pivotally mounted within the gate frame by a pivoting element. The latch device has a first pin member and a first latch member respectively having two magnets corresponding to each other. The fence stopper abuts against the block to limit the pivotable fence to be unidirectionally pivotable. The attraction force between the magnets and a restoring force of the pivoting element return the pivotable fence back within the gate frame. The fence stopper and the block abut against each other to avoid the circumstance when the pivotable fence is slammed too hard and the latch device is not securely locked.

  • Patent number: 8191604
Abstract: A fabric gate has a ratchet assembly, a delaying assembly and a driving device. The ratchet assembly has a ratchet, a positioning ring and a driven pad. The ratchet has a wheel provide with multiple upper ratchet teeth and multiple lower ratchet teeth. The upper ratchet teeth extend toward a direction opposite to that of the lower ratchet teeth extending. The positioning ring is expandable and has engaging teeth engaging respectively with the ratchet teeth on the ratchet. The driven pad is attached to the top of the positioning ring to expand the positioning ring when the driven pad is rotated by the driving device. The delaying assembly is mounted in the top cap and connected to the ratchet assembly to reduce to the rotating speed of the driven pad.

  • Publication number: 20020007597
Abstract: A safety gate has a horizontal base with first and second vertical bars secured at opposite sides thereof, a door panel provided between the first and second vertical bars, and a locking device provided at a first side of the door panel. The door panel has a second side thereof mounted on the second vertical bar. A pivot spindle is formed on the door panel and pivotally fitted in a pivot socket in a horizontal base. A pivoting support is secured on an upper end of the second vertical bar corresponding to a pivoting bearing secured on an upper end of the second side of the door panel. The door panel returns from an open position to a closed position due to gravity, and the return of the door panel is smooth and slow because of a helical mating in the pivoting support.
