Abstract: A touch-sensitive display apparatus includes a multi-touch screen, a processor, and a network unit. The processor controls the apparatus to enter a pulse rate measuring mode, records the number of the touched touch points in each scanning period, and determines a curve according to all the recorded numbers within a preset period, the number of wave crests of the curve, and pulse rates per minute according to the number of the wave crests. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A system and method used in an electronic apparatus for playing a video stored in the electronic apparatus via a display. The video playing system splits the video into a number of video segments. Each of the video segments has predetermined time duration. The video playing system analyzes each video segment to acquire image backgrounds and facial features of the video segments and delete a latter video segment of two adjacent video segments when the image backgrounds and the facial features of the latter video segment of two adjacent video segments is the same as the image backgrounds and the facial features of an earlier video segment of two adjacent video segments.

Abstract: An audio playing device may operate in a first mode or a second mode. The audio playing device includes a speaker, an earphone jack receiving an earphone plug of an earphone, a sound output driver, a rotation angle detector, and a processor. The sound output driver only drives the speaker when the audio playing device operates in the first mode and only drives the earphone when the audio playing device operates in the second mode. The rotation angle detector generates a first mode change signal when the earphone plug is rotated in the earphone jack along a first direction over a predetermined angle. The processor changes operation of the audio playing device between the first mode and the second mode when the processor receives the first mode change signal from the rotation angle detector.

Abstract: A computerized alert mode management method of a communication device, the communication device includes a sound capture unit. Vocal sounds of the environment around the communication device are extracted at regular intervals using the sound capture unit. Voice characteristic information of the captured vocal sounds is extracted using a speech recognition method and/or a voice recognition method. The communication device is controlled to work at one of a plurality of predetermined alert modes according to the extracted voice characteristic information.

Abstract: An output controller and an method for outputting a signal flow to one or more earphone jacks according to a connection status of each earphone jack. The output controller includes an interface unit having more than one earphone jacks and an output control unit. The output control unit includes a signal input terminal for receiving a signal flow, a detector, and a determining module. The detector detects whether each earphone jack is connected with an earphone and outputs one or more detected signals representing the connection status of the earphone jacks. The determining module outputs the signal flow directly to the connected earphone jack if only one earphone jack is connected to the earphone or distributes the signal flow being amplified correspondingly into each connected earphone jack if more than one earphone jack is connected to the earphones.

Abstract: An exemplary electronic device is connected with an earphone. The earphone includes a first storage unit storing information as to functions of the earphone. The electronic device includes a second storage unit storing a function information table recording information as to user-controllable functions of the electronic device, function units corresponding to the user-controllable functions, an identifying module, and a control module. The identifying module retrieves the information as to functions stored in the first storage unit, and determines whether one or more of the controllable functions of the electronic device are controllable by the earphone. The control module activates all of the function units corresponding to the controllable functions of the electronic device which are controllable by the earphone, and controls one or more of the activated function units according to one or more control signals transmitted from the earphone to the electronic device. A related method is also provided.

The wireless communication unit sends the speech signals to a server. The server converts the speech signals into a text message. The wireless communication unit receives the text message from the server. The combining unit combines the text message and the speech signals into a combined message. The wireless communication unit further sends the combined message to a recipient. A related server is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an acceleration sensor and a rotation sensor, both being independently powered, in providing a method of unlocking when locked. An acceleration of the electronic device is detected using the acceleration sensor and a rotation angle of the electronic device is then detected using the rotation sensor. The electronic device is unlocked only if the acceleration of the electronic device exceeds the predetermined value and the electronic device is additionally rotated a predetermined angle within a predetermined time.

Storing a copy of the preprocessed file in a buffer of the cloud server if the terminal device is authorized. Obtaining the determined software in the cloud server according to the control signal. Controlling the determined software to open the copy of the preprocessed file.

The method includes steps: controlling the capturing unit to capture an image; performing an image processing function in relation to the captured image to obtain pixels of the captured image; comparing the pixels of the captured image with the pixels of the pre-stored standard images and determining whether a percentage of the pixels of the image is similar to the pixels of one of the standard images. Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automatic positioning system that is in a mobile device. The mobile device communicates with a vehicle. The system includes a first detection module, a second detection module and a positioning module. The first detection module detects the mobile device is in a moving state or a static state in real-time. The second detection module detects the vehicle is in a moving state or a static state in real-time. The positioning module acquires the location of the mobile device and records the acquired location as a position where the vehicle is parked in the mobile device, when the vehicle changes from the moving state to the static state, the mobile device changes from the static state to the moving state.

Abstract: The disclosure provides an emergency message transmission method and an electronic device implementing the method. The electronic device stores a reference voltage value and comprises a smoke assessing unit. Abstract: An exemplary method for manufacturing a circuit board includes, firstly, obtaining an insulating substrate, liquid heat-curable adhesive and electrically conductive particles. The electrically conductive particles are added into the liquid heat-curable adhesive. The electrically conductive particles in the heat-curable adhesive are activated by electrical discharge. Secondly, the liquid heat-curable adhesive having activated electrically conductive particles are spread on the insulating substrate to form a heat-curable adhesive layer on the insulating substrate. Thirdly, the heat-curable adhesive layer are exposed to the mid-infrared light by using a photo-mask, the photo-mask has a pattern corresponding to a desired circuit pattern of the circuit board. The electrically conductive particles relocated themselves one by one to form the circuit pattern under irradiation by the mid-infrared light. Finally, the heat-curable adhesive layer are hardening.

Abstract: A storage battery charge circuit for charging a battery is provided. The circuit includes a voltage input port, a converting circuit, and a charge circuit. The voltage input port is for being connected to a power source to receive a logic high level voltage. The converting circuit is connected to the voltage input port to convert the received logic high level voltage into a control signal including a logic high level voltage and a logic low level voltage alternately and the mark space ratio is not equal to one. The charge circuit is connected to the converting circuit to charge the battery or discharge the battery according to the control signal.

Abstract: An AC voltage detection circuit includes a conversion module, a comparison module, and a prompt module. The conversion module connects to an AC power source and converts the AC voltage provided by the AC power source to an AC current, and then converts the AC current to a direct current (DC) voltage reflecting the AC voltage. The comparison module is connected to the conversion module, and compares the DC voltage with a first predetermined voltage and a second lesser predetermined voltage, and produces a control signal when the DC voltage is greater than the first predetermined voltage or less than the second predetermined voltage. The prompt module produces a prompt signal when receiving the control signal.
