  • Patent number: 11943340
Abstract: In some examples, for process-to-process communication, such as in function linking, a virtual channel can be provisioned to provide virtual machine to virtual machine communications. In response to a transmit request from a source virtual machine, the virtual channel can cause a data copy from a source buffer associated with the source virtual machine without decryption or encryption. The virtual channel provisions a key identifier for the copied data. The destination virtual machine can receive an indication data is available and can cause the data to be decrypted using a key accessed using the key identifier and source address of the copied data. In addition, the data can be encrypted using a second, different key for storage in a destination buffer associated with the destination virtual machine. In some examples, the key identifier and source address is managed by the virtual channel and is not visible to virtual machine or hypervisor.

  • Publication number: 20040209644
Abstract: There is disclosed a cellular phone installation adapted to capture and view image while providing telephone communication service simultaneously and a design method of implementing the same. While a cellular phone installation is used to capture or view images, an interrupt control unit is forced to intercept the transmission between a digital baseband processing unit and a display module for driving a image capture processing module to transfer the captured image and display the captured image on a display module. In this manner, the cellular phone installation is able to conduct telephone communication in the middle of image capture or viewing, and the convenience of using the cellular phone installation is improved.

  • Publication number: 20020176972
Abstract: The present invention provides a structure of a contact chain comprising a substrate of a first conductive type, a dielectric layer on the substrate, a plurality of contact structures and two probe pads. The contact structures are connected in series and have two ends. Each contact structure comprises a contact hole in the dielectric layer and conductive material in the contact hole, for electrically contacting with a first doped layer of a second conductive type. The first doped region is formed on the substrate. Two probe pads are coupled to the two ends, respectively. The contact chain further comprises a means for selectively coupling the first doped layer to the substrate. When the first doped layer is not coupled to the substrate, the total resistance of the contact chain can be measured through the two probe pads.
