  • Publication number: 20060090388
Abstract: An integrated line guide seat for fishing rods includes a double-reel line guide seat, a plurality of single-reel line guide seats and a tip reel seat each having a body formed by integrated fabrication. The body has threading holes on the lateral sides for threading a fishing line and circular openings on the front end and the rear end formed by machining. The body further has two fastening sections extended from two sides of the bottom thereof and formed with an arched cross section by machining. As the body is fabricated integrally, thus molding cost may be saved, and unnecessary fabrication processes such as drawing, stamping and bending with molds may be dispensed with.

  • Publication number: 20050258606
Abstract: A chuck for fishing rod winding machines includes an anchor disk, jaws, a rotary ring, a clip ring and pliable caps. The anchor disk has three wedge troughs on one side and a recess on another side with a strut in the center extending outwards. The strut has tenons located on the peripheral surface at different diameters and an annular groove close to the front end to couple with the clip ring. The wedge troughs are coupled with jaws each has teeth on the bottom end to couple with a helical flange located on one side of the rotary ring. The anchor disk may be turned to drive the jaws to move inwards or outwards. The rotary ring may be turned in the opposite direction to enable the jaws to clamp a rod. The movement of the jaws may be fine tuned according to various types of rods.

  • Publication number: 20050258297
Abstract: An improved rod winding apparatus includes a rack consisting of two opposing round bars, a chuck dock coupled on one end of the rack, adjustment docks and bracing docks mounted on the rack and a winding dock coupled on one round bar of the rack. The chuck dock has a first seat with first coupling rings that have respectively a first bore formed thereon. The adjustment dock has a second seat with second coupling rings that has respectively a second bore formed thereon. The bracing dock has third coupling rings that have respectively a third bore formed thereon. The winding dock has an arched trough to couple on one round bar. The invention allows rods of different lengths to be mounted thereon for winding threads. The adjustment docks, bracing docks and winding dock may be moved to desired locations for adjustment.

  • Publication number: 20050172535
Abstract: An improved line guide for fishing rods includes a circular ring at one end. The perimeter of the circular ring has two opposite sides extended respectively downwards to form a vertical section. The vertical section has a distal end extended slightly outwards and downwards and bent inwards to become narrower to form an inclined conical section with a horizontal plane at one end. The two horizontal planes are symmetrical and joined juxtaposed to form a flat and conical fastening section. The circular ring further has a lower side extended downwards to form an arrow-shaped fastening section. The inclined conical section has a vertical surface to form surface contact with a fishing line. The inclined conical section can increase the strength of the line guide and prevent the line guide from deforming when subject to stress or impact from external forces.

  • Publication number: 20050097804
Abstract: A guide ring for a fishing rod includes a circular ring and a fixing frame. The fixing frame includes two symmetrical conical inclined portions, a connection portion and a receiving hole. The conical inclined portions are downward expanded from the vicinity of bottom of the circular ring. The connection portion is disposed between the two symmetrical conical inclined portions. The receiving hole is disposed in the connection portion and provided with different kinds of labels. The connection portion increases the strength of the whole structure. The guide ring can be directly recognized by eye, and the shape of the fixing frame is obvious.

  • Publication number: 20050097805
Abstract: A guide ring for a fishing rod includes a fixing frame. The fixing frame includes a ring, a front and rear conical inclined portions and a front and rear fixing legs. The front and rear conical inclined portions are downward and slightly outward expanded from two sides of the ring and then respectively forward and backward longitudinal expanded to the fishing rod. The front conical inclined portion is corresponding to the rear conical inclined portion in opposite direction. The front and rear fixing legs are respectively formed at the end of the front and rear conical inclined portions and aligned with each other.

  • Publication number: 20050035239
Abstract: An anchoring apparatus for thread winding and spin coating on a rod located on one end of a rack includes an anchor dock, adjusting docks and a winding dock. The adjusting dock has a L-shaped member which includes adjusting rollers on the inner side and a movable roller on the one end to form an adjustment roller set. The rod may be rested on the adjustment roller set with the end of the hand grip end gripped by the anchor dock which can adjust the center position of the rod and has a speed adjusting device and a motor fastened to an outer side. Depending on the size of the diameter of stem of the rod, the movable block may be moved upwards or downwards to adjust the adjusting rollers and to couple with the movable roller to reach a desired anchor position for the rod. Thus the rod is positioned and anchored on three points. The winding dock may be moved to a desired location on the guiding rail outside the rack to facilitate operation.
