  • Publication number: 20170054402
Abstract: A direct current (DC) constant-speed brushless fan motor having a wide voltage input, comprising a power supply unit; a fan motor driving unit, connected to the power supply unit; a fan motor, connected to the fan motor drive unit; a fan motor control unit, connected to the fan motor; and a sensing unit, connected to the fan motor control unit. As such, the power supply unit may be used to accept a wide voltage input and convert the wide input voltage into an appropriate output power, so that the appropriate output power may be outputted to the brushless fan motor through the fan motor control unit and the fan motor drive unit. As such, the fan motor may reach a target rotational speed which may not be changed with the input voltage, with the efficacies of saved consumed energy and elimination of operation noise achieved simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 7907407
Abstract: A heat dissipating device is designed with calm, efficient, and space economy performance includes a housing (1) having an exhaust (10), and an intake (32). A fan (4) disposed inside the housing (1) is relative to the intake (32). A set of fins (10) disposed inside the housing (1) is relative to the exhaust (10). Said fan (4) is rotated to circulate cooling air into the set of fins (6), and expel hot air absorbed by the fins out of the exhaust. A first heat pipe (5) is disposed on an inner wall of the housing (1) relative to the fan (4). The first heat pipe (5) has a condensing portion at one end encircles most of the fan; an evaporating portion at the other end extends to the inner wall of the housing, where a heat-generating electronic component is located, is thermally connected to the set of fins (6).

  • Patent number: 6806673
Abstract: The present invention provides a fan driving circuit using a pulse width modulation (PWM) input signal. Wherein, a signal generator electrically connects to a fan motor and provides power for the fan motor. The signal generator generates a control signal for controlling ON/OFF of the power. Wherein, the signal generator generates a control signal at a buffer period when the fan motor changes phase for controlling phase change. Whereby, by means of the control signal at the buffer period, when phase changes, power-consuming would be reduced. The fan motor can change phase successfully and operate efficiently for power-saving, capacity-improving and cost-reducing.
