  • Patent number: 11209653
Abstract: A near-eye display apparatus including at least one display unit having a display element and an optical system is provided. The display element provides a light beam. The light beam includes a first light beam and a second light beam having different image information and different polarization states. The optical system includes a first semi-reflective element, a first polarization conversion element, and a polarization reflector, arranged in sequence along an optical axis. The polarization reflector allows a light beam having a first polarization state to pass and reflects a light beam having a second polarization state. The light path and the image distance of the second light beam are greater than the light path and the image distance of the first light beam, and the first light beam and the second light beam are emitted by at least one display unit to form a combined light beam.

  • Publication number: 20210132375
Abstract: An eye tracking device including an optical waveguide component, a light source module, and an eye tracking module is provided. The optical waveguide component has a light-entrance surface and a light-exit surface connecting the light-entrance surface. The light-exit surface has a plurality of micro-structures directly formed on the light-exit surface. The light source module is disposed next to the light-entrance surface and adapted to provide a light beam. The light beam enters the optical waveguide component through the light-entrance surface, and the light beam is emitted from the optical waveguide component through the micro-structures and is transmitted to an eye. The eye tracking module receives a portion of the light beam reflected by the eye and determines a location of the eye based on the portion of the light beam reflected by the eye. A head mounted display is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20200053642
Abstract: Examples pertaining to flexible radio access technology (RAT) selection for 5th Generation (5G) mobile communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node of a wireless network, information related to a RAT preference with respect to RAT selection by the UE. Based at least in part on the received information, the UE may perform a RAT or Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) selection procedure. Alternatively, or additionally, the UE may receive, from the network node, information related to ability of one or more neighbor network nodes of one or more RATs in a region. Based at least in part on the received information, the UE may select one of the one or more RATs or one of the one or more neighbor network nodes.

  • Publication number: 20030225783
Abstract: A task object correlation method. First, at least one sub-task object corresponding to a task object is built. The sub-task object has an attribute and a correlation between the task object and the sub-task object is built automatically. Then, the task object and the sub-task object are stored into an object correlation database. When users need to track sub-task objects, a task object is selected and a classification is designated. Then, at least one sub-task object whose attribute conforms to the designated classification is retrieved from the object correlation database according to the task object and the designated classification.
