  • Publication number: 20130293867
Abstract: A distance-measuring device is utilized for measuring a measured distance between a measured object and the distance-measuring device. The distance-measuring device reduces the effect of a background light and a flicking light by removing the part corresponding to the background light and the flicking light from light-sensed signals generated by an image sensor of the distance-measuring device. In addition, the distance-measuring device calculates a calibrating parameter for calibrating an assemble-error angle of the distance-measuring device, according to an imaging location of a reflective light obtained by measuring a calibrating object with a predetermined distance. In this way, the distance-measuring device can correctly calculate out the measured distance.

  • Publication number: 20120299896
Abstract: A pixel structure including a first switching transistor, a setting unit, a capacitor, a driving transistor, a second switching transistor and a luminous element is disclosed. The capacitor is coupled between a first and a second node. The first switching transistor transmits a data signal to the first node according to a scan signal. The driving transistor includes a threshold voltage and a gate coupled to the second node. The second switching transistor includes a gate receiving an emitting signal. The luminous element is coupled to the driving transistor and the second switching transistor in series between a first operation voltage and a second operation voltage. The setting unit controls the voltage levels of the first and the second nodes to compensate the threshold voltage of the driving transistor.

  • Patent number: 8199254
Abstract: In a device for separating a synchronous signal in a video signal, a capacitor receives the video signal to obtain a coupling signal, a level determining circuit receives the coupling signal and compares a voltage level of the coupling signal with a number of reference voltages. The reference voltages define several reference voltage ranges, one of which is a predetermined reference voltage range. The level determining circuit outputs an adjusting signal according to a reference voltage range corresponding to a minimum voltage level of the coupling signal within a predetermined time period. A level adjusting circuit has several current sources for receiving the adjusting signal and thus controls the current sources to adjust a DC level of the coupling signal. A synchronous signal separating circuit separates the synchronous signal from the coupling signal when the minimum voltage level of the coupling signal is substantially within the predetermined reference voltage range.

  • Patent number: 8125550
Abstract: A correlation double sampling (CDS) circuit for sampling a reset signal and a light-sensing signal outputted from a pixel column of an image sensor includes two sampling capacitors and four transistor switches. The operation of the CDS circuit needs not change polarities of the two sampling capacitors, such that MOS capacitors that have higher capacitance per unit area can be utilized for realizing the two sampling capacitors for reducing thermal noises induced when performing sampling. Additionally, fewer transistors are used in the CDS circuit, and thus charge injection noises caused by switching the transistor switches can also be reduced.
