  • Patent number: 7257892
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a wiring board, including: providing a resin substrate on which is formed a metal layer including a first layer and a second layer formed on the first layer; forming an interconnecting pattern by etching the metal layer so that the interconnecting pattern includes the patterned first layer and second layer and a part of the first layer remains outside the second layer as a residue of the first layer; electroless plating the interconnecting pattern and the residue of the first layer; and then washing the resin substrate. The washing of the resin substrate is performed by using at least one of an acidic solution used for dissolving and removing the residue of the first layer and a metal deposited on the residue of the first layer by the electroless plating and an alkaline solution used for dissolving the resin substrate to remove an area which supports the residue of the first layer.

  • Publication number: 20070187972
Abstract: A double folding mechanism of a seat of a vehicle can fold a seat cushion from a space on a floor and fold a seat back into the space, thereby changing the seat from its use condition to its retracted condition. The double folding mechanism can include a first connecting mechanism connecting the seat cushion and the floor and a second connecting mechanism connecting the seat back and the floor. The second connecting mechanism can control the rotational speed of the seat back such that the seat back can enter inside a rotational trajectory of a rear end of the seat cushion after the seat cushion comes out of a rotational trajectory of an upper end portion of the seat back. The double folding mechanism can change the seat from the use condition to the retracted condition in one operation.

  • Publication number: 20070165152
Abstract: There is provided a liquid crystal display capable of decreasing the number of components and easily carrying out an assembly. When a liquid crystal body 13 is to be attached to an opening 12 of a housing 11, the liquid crystal body 13 is supported and attached to the housing 11 by means of a plate portion 16 provided in parallel with the opening 12 through a wall portion 15 on a back side 11a of the housing 11. In this case, a flexible board 14 drawn from an end face of the liquid crystal body 13 is pulled out of an insertion hole 17 provided on the wall portion 15. For this reason, it is not necessary to provide a holding member in the attachment of the liquid crystal body to the housing as in the conventional art. Therefore, it is possible to decrease the number of components and to reduce an attachment man-hour of the holding member.

  • Patent number: 7224946
Abstract: To provide a flip electronic device in which even when rain water or the like enters therein to a certain extent, it is absorbed and hence an electric circuit therein is not affected. In the flip electronic device, slight clearances are formed between bearings (3a), (3b), (4a), (4b) for rotatably connecting first and second enclosures (1), (2), and cylindrical members (13), (14) formed coaxially with the bearings (3a), (3b), (4a), (4b), and hence rain water may enter through these clearances. Therefore, water-absorbing members (19), (20) are mounted to an end of a printed wiring assembly (17), and rain water entered through the clearances is absorbed by the water absorbing members (19), (20), so as to prevent an electric circuit located in the enclosure from being affected.

  • Publication number: 20060203034
Abstract: An ink jet printing apparatus carrying out printing using a plurality of ejecting portions for ejecting different kinds of inks respectively, wherein a condition for wiping of an ejection face provided with ink ejection openings of a plurality of ejecting portions is appropriately determined and an defective ejection due to wet and dirty ejection face is effectively prevented. A timing of wiping is controlled considering an ink condition. Specifically, the timing of wiping is determined not simply based on a dot count value being a number of ejection carried out by a plurality of ejecting portions to perform printing, but also a condition of an amount of mist generated in accordance with ink types as well.

  • Patent number: 7075625
Abstract: Pattern projection apparatuses are placed on each other in a stack manner in a stripe pattern direction for projecting the same patterns. An image pickup apparatus (camera 1) is placed between the pattern projection apparatuses. The optical axes of the pattern projection apparatuses and the image pickup apparatus are aligned on the same plane parallel with the stripe pattern direction. On the plane, the principal points also become the same. An image of a stripe pattern is picked up directly by the image pickup apparatus without the intervention of a half mirror, etc., and is recoded. An image of the recoded stripe pattern is picked up by an image pickup apparatus (camera 2) and is decoded and the range of an object is measured by triangulation based on image correspondence points.

  • Patent number: 6970600
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing apparatus that efficiently identifies input characters and the like by an intensity image analysis based on range information. The image processing apparatus performs distance measurement by performing three-dimensional measurement by pattern projection to characters written to a manuscript, whiteboard, and the like, gets an intensity image used as a so-called actual image and an image for distance measurement in parallel, and identifies input characters by an intensity image analysis based on range information. The image processing apparatus picks up characters, patterns, and the like written onto paper or the like with a pen, performs geometric transformation for picked-up images, and performs natural input character analysis and reading processing. Furthermore, by comparing images picked up in a time-series, noise elimination and manuscript position modifications become possible.

  • Patent number: 6916085
Abstract: A liquid container includes a lever having one end supported to an outer wall of a housing containing a liquid therein and the other end as a free end, the lever being elastically deformable. The liquid container further includes a projection provided in an area of the housing which is opposite to and away from the supported one end of the lever, the projection covering at least a part of a space between the free end of the lever and the housing in the above area. By virtue of the projection, the lever can be protected against accidental external forces. In a cap-equipped liquid container, a straight line connecting a projected end of the projection of the liquid container and a distal end of a tab of a cap is set to cross a movable range of the lever provided on the liquid container in which the lever is allowed to angularly move with elastic deformation thereof.
